Great message! I might sound selfish here. Acknowledging the existence of the neglected people can make them happier. Not only does it benefit them, it also benefits us. In my opinion, crime originates from bad emotion and the lack of love and sympathy. If there is more love, the world will be a safer place.

If I got that note I would probably read it once and then throw it away BECAUSE IT"S A NOTE. I think the leaders in the hospitality industry think too highly of their impact on the world. Ultimately it doesn't matter if you say something nice or do anything nice at the moment because it only lasts a moment. Maybe this is just me, but I don't look back and think of that one time a staff member was hospitable to me. I think if the hospitality industry would let go of its ego, they would come off as more down-to-earth.

I would disagree, however I find your opinion still valid because your values are different. If you dont think back to that moment and feel good about it, then that is simply the way you work, or you simply havent had a experience positive and memorable enough. If the majority wouldnt be impacted by positive experiences in the hospitality industry then the industry wouldnt be so focused on it probably.
