I liked the comment about Goodwill tracking Lavender Clothesline down. haha. How great that it will be closer to you. A new small church op shop has opened near me and it has great prices. I was down to only having 2 thrift stores near me because the others are being curated and pricing much higher than they used to. I understand that they need more money now to help people so it's nice that this new one is happy to keep the old fashioned pricing which gives great value to its supporters.

Your other idea about the green glass items was correct. They are glass "coasters" for your furniture legs. They are old.

Karen. Omg. Those were not salt cellars. I can't believe that was a whole basket of uranium glass furniture coasters from 1930s. And yes they glow. They're very collectable. Usually made by hazel atlas. I can't believe there was a whole basket full. They are hard to find Wow!! Go back and get them!!

Hi Karen! The Paraguay cup is for drinking Yerba Mate tea. And yes it is a horn. Cups are made from gourds as well. They would drink the tea from a special mate straw called Bombilla. My parents were born in Paraguay and watched them drink this healthy tea my whole life. Thanks for the flash back 😀

Those planters are beautiful! My Mom collected Art Nouveau, Art Deco Nudes. She would have loved those! Why was the second one as-is, did I miss that info? We have stores here called the Discovery Shop, money goes to cancer research, all volunteer ladies and they keep the stores looking like boutiques, like you, I prefer to dig! I stayed with you for the whole although I would have left sooner myself, prices were prohibitive for me, but I would have at least considered the green furniture coasters! TFS

Love watching you shop Karen! You find such wonderful things. I live in north central Alabama. The yard sales are few and far between. They sell junk. Worn out clothing and Dollar General decor. The nearest thrift store to me is 15 miles. It’s full of cheap decor and baby clothes. If anything is worth having it’s too expensive. Jeans are $7.99 and up. Ladies tops and tshirts $6.99. They are mostly Walmart brand or Merona, Targets brand. So disappointing!

1970's Splitkein Bass Vintage Touring Skis Splitkein literally means "split cane" in Norwegian, referring to the laminations of the ski. The truly complex laminated skis didn't hit the market until 1939, when chemists invented a glue strong enough to hold the various laminations together permanently. These skis were constructed with thin layers of wood that were glued together in narrow strips called "cane" throughout the entire length of the ski. Splitkein ski factory was established by Peter Ostby in 1935 and taken over by Laila Schou Nilsen in 1947. In 1950, Splitkein moved the factory to Hønefoss. In addition to skiing, the factory produced garden furniture, camping equipment and yachts.

poison ivy ( I am in NH and the plant should be the state plant ) best thing for rash extremely hot water and then douse with rubbing alcohol ... pleasurable pain if there is such a thing it will dry it up in no time . I would not use it on my face arms and legs fine . Another over the counter treatment for the rash Domeboro just ask your pharmacists where it is located in the store I keep a box in the house because I really react to the poison ivy plant's oil . For future reference if you think you are going to be working near poison ivy for a preventative use tecnu again at the pharmacists I keep this on hand as well . IT is a liquid I do not like the smell but it will help as a preventative if you think you came into contact with poison ivy use the tecnu to wash the area . Or if you are going to be out in the garden just rub it on any exposed skin then when you are done in the garden wash it off . If any poison ivy oil got on you the tecnu should keep it from contacting your skin

Round green glass (not for salt) often mistaken for such, these where designed for Furniture legs usually not marked but those are Anchor Hocking in their Forest Green (wish we found good stuff in NC). BTW perhaps there’s a better way to say some labels you may not be familiar with, than to say things that are labeled/or marked are a “big nobody”. There are many Designers or brands …impossible for us to know or name them all but, we cannot and should not discount them as I’m certain a lot of work and effort goes into their craft. All of the biggest designers started of as an inspiring or emerging ones. Hope u are not offended, just friendly advice …I enjoy your channel and your store. Thanks for what YOU Do.
