I am looking forward to his improvements in the coming months. Rocky is still bemused and a little bit tentative. Looking forward to seeing him become healthy and confident. We have a little hoarder rescue that took a good year to start showing her personality. She doubled her weight, grew healthy, and not only learned how to be a dog, but is a silly, sassy diva. It is amazing to watch them emerge.

Rocky is so beautiful, I’ll never understand how and why some people are just so evil to animals! I have a Husky/alaskan malamute/arctic Timberwolf mix and I love her so much and will and have done anything for her. I’ve gone without food for myself just so my Piper could eat. He's looking so much better. Has a beautiful face. Innocent eyes. That last paragraph you spoke was extra special, and is something we all must be aware of. Sick, abused, unhealthy beings, whatever they are, need more than a bowl of food, a drink of water, or a meal to feel better, even a kind passing word. Their souls are hidden until their needs are met over time, and are cared for, knowing they are safe. It was a wonderful sentance from your heart. I have written it down. It's one for the books.

@@karenjohnston5769 All the arrivals are filmed and details of their origin, with updates shown periodically. Some dogs are adopted in, and some go to loving homes, depending on their needs and capabilities. There was a video last week where he listed a number of dogs adopted out recently

Oh my goodness. I cried at his rescue and now I'm crying in gratitude that he's making it! THANK YOU LEE!!! He's such a beautiful boy! When I saw him so filled out already I cried out "Oh thank god!" and my little Havanese rescue looked at me wondering???? So I showed her the video and said we have to keep sending Rocky reiki!!! I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this dog. How is there someone that twisted out there to do something like this to a puppy? If I ever saw someone who did that it'd be the last day they're using their arms and legs. This just made me so angry and brought tears to my eyes. Thank god for people like You who are saving lives and healing souls. Your home is an incredible sanctuary for these dogs and that's why they heal so quickly there. I felt like the other dogs were telling rocky your safe now and he was responding to that. Your incredible man. This will be burnt into my memory forever though.

So awesome, I recently rescued a German Shephard mix, he was very abused, spine is damaged. I'm doing everything I can for him. He has a chiropractor appt next week, if the vet can't do anything for him, I'll have to put him down, I won't let him suffer, hes only 10-11 months old, so sad.
