Every single day, something else comes out to make me dislike the WNBA a little bit more. I think Charles Barkley is 100% correct except I think they are actually trying to get rid of their new fans. Wilson is lacking in self awareness. As Clark does everything she can to help build up the league, Aja does everything she can to tear down Clark, even to the point that it hurts the league and her wallet. And the unbelievable thing is, most of the WNBA backs her up. Clark is a threat to the WNBA's identity and the women don't know how to respond. They see themselves as an activist league, where social justice causes are more important than winning or making a profit. They are proud of the "sacrifices" they make to keep the league alive. They were proud of what they believed was a league for "marginalized" people. Seeing huge crowds of happy families with kids in the stands is the last thing they want. Happy little kids screaming is like kryptonite to the "marginalized " women of the WNBA and it scares and intimidates them because they are not used to large crowds who actually care and pays attention to what goes on on the courts. They are so not used to it that they think, "The Fever fans are scary because they yell too loud and clap too much when the Fever makes a great play. They must hate us because of isms or phobias".

It could literally be next year that CC takes the MVP trophy off A'ja, so my guess is that A'ja is on an early campaign to protect her turf.
