A Journey in my Journal 2 - Flip-Through

My first 'meeting' with you was just a week ago, when I saw your ad on Facebook for your retreat. I have struggled with it, but finally this afternoon, I started. I won't get through all of the 4 days, and I am ok with that. Once I got started, I began to feel good. I told myself that I was proud of myself, because this morning when I posted on FB, I wasn't sure that I would get started. I felt negative. Funny thing was, that once I acknowledged the negative feeling, and more importantly, I wrote it down, I felt better, and I felt a change come over me. It was as if I didn't want to let myself down, as I always have done before. I wanted to feel something....that feeling was JOY!!! And indeed, I felt it today. Whether I complete this project or not, I am proud of ME. I started. And that is progress a million times over. You have no idea of what this means for me. Thank you Laly. You bring a sense of peace and calm into my life, and I will follow you everywhere...almost.🙂 With much respect, from Lynne in New Zealand.💜

wow! I don't know what to say, I have only been journaling since Oct '23, this is the most beautiful journal I have seen. I got lots of inspiration from your work, I loved all the windows, and birds, I even got tears in my eyes from some of the sentiments you expressed in your journal. This is something I will look at again and again for further inspiration! Love it thoroughly. You do beautiful work, is an understatement.

Oh, Laly, this video made me feel such joy. I've been dealing with a husband with horrible cancer and haven't been able to even open my journals. But today, you gave me hope. Thank you for the joy you share. My favorite journal page will always be the Jane Austen one I did in your class.
