I've never played any LEGO game, but there are two things I know about them: They are typically very SPOOFY. And 2, becouse of thier lower graphics, they can have HUGE rossters. This means we could play as multiple characters and even as non human npcs: imagine if you could play as a Tremortusk, Thunderjaw, Shellsnapper or Tideripper!

Yup that’s true! You can unlock LOTS of characters to play as. Like dozens lol. Not sure we’d be able to play as a big machine, it probably wouldn’t fit a lot of places lol. But maybe a small one would work.

Yup you can usually switch between your chosen character and chosen companions on the fly. You choose your character and companions at the start of a level. At least, that’s how it worked when I last played one.

When I put on my Horizon Forbidden West shirt on, I didn't know I was going to get such good news. I hope the remaster and the Lego game don't come out till I finished Assassin's Creed Shadows though. If those come out next year, they'll serve as a pretty decent Monster Hunter Wilds cooldown game.

A LEGO game with drop-in couch co-op in the Horizon world would be super cool. Some of the later LEGO games, like The Skywalker Saga, pack in a neat combination of semi-open world elements and purpose-built linear levels that could be an interesting fit for a Horizon story. Plus, if TT Games are involved, they'll have the opportunity to inject some of their trademark humor into it. I found The Skywalker Saga to be a hilarious satire of the whole Star Wars story, and I'd love to see TT Games take a crack at infusing some levity into a Horizon story. Aside from all that, a LEGO Horizon game is virtually guaranteed to bring a number of actual LEGO sets with it, which I would be stoked about after how awesome the Tallneck set is. I'm looking forward to the Sony showcase for sure!

Totally! Yeah those are good points. The LEGO games always infuse some great humor. I’d love to see that with Horizon as it’s one of the few things I feel the games lack. And I would agree a game would probably mean more LEGO sets as well 🙂

if the HZD remaster is real which I think is a very good chance of that. I think we could see a release sometime in mid to late summer of this year. As for the Netflix series as much as I would love a differnet story than ZD it makes the most sense to retell the story of ZD to get new people who haven't played the game interested in the Horizon universe. if it does well Netflix can always do what they did with The Witcher and make a spin off series about it. but I feel it won't be as detailed as the games based on their previous shows they've done like Avatar the last airbender.

I've been thrilled and excited for a potential HZD remaster since I first heard about it. As much as I love that HZD, I feel it hasn't aged excellently when it comes to certain mechanics. Perhaps that's just because I liked Forbidden West and it's quality of life and gameplay so much.

Also, as much as I would love to see a competent, well-made live action film/series adaptation of this franchise, I'm quite skeptical about one that's coming out in the current cultural climate. No matter where each person sits on personal values or beliefs, I think it's fair to say that much of current entertainment media has become a battleground between opposing political influences in a conflict that has only escalated since the pandemic. I believe there's more than a small risk that the showrunners for Netflix's Horizon project may overtly take a side in the culture war and decide to make their show a political statement first and a compelling story second, which is something I hope doesn't happen. The vast majority of audiences don't like being preached at in their entertainment media, *regardless of what their personal beliefs happen to be or what arm of politics they support.* Depending on how the showrunners decide to write the story, there's a good possibility that part of the audience will decry another "unrealistic girlboss Mary Sue sticking it to a manufactured patriarchy in another man-hating fictional world," while another part will praise it for being a "progressive, stunning, and brave triumph over all the incel bigots who just hate women." Either way, the show would become a piece of territory to fight over instead of being allowed to stand on its own merits. I certainly have my own strong opinions regarding modern entertainment media, as I'm sure most people reading this do. But when it comes to media, more than anything I just want a good story that's more than an on-the-nose delivery vehicle for ideological talking points, whether I agree with those points or not. It's also a possibility of course that the show will be an absolute banger that continues the gradually growing trend of successful video game adaptations, which I would absolutely love to see! I just don't know how likely that outcome actually is right now. Still, hoping for the best!

It'd be cool to get to hunt legendary dinobots to get golden pieces to build your mounts. A free build mode and a lego aesthetics rather than a lego game, like lego fortnite or lego racing games. It'd be great to have destructible environments where holes could stay open longer by the thunderclamps (digging mole one). It'd be nice if the game was as difficult as Dragon Quest Builders series, so less harder than the regular games, but more difficult than lego games.

A Lego Horizon game seems both strange but also sort of would make sense in a weird way since Horizon feels like tearing Lego models apart when fighting machines. It's not the game I was looking for but that's not a complaint. Though more sets would be cool too. The online game art just sort of looked like something I'd expect for a mobile game. Might not end up meaning much though. The remaster idea is interesting to me though since I wouldn't have thought to ask for that, it's not that old, but Forbidden West has some amazing animation so I'd play it if it happened anyway.

It's certainly possible. Like I mention in the video, I was sure it was just LEGO sets until Tom Henderson published the Insider Gaming article. When he does that, he's rarely wrong from what I've seen, but he certainly could be. It could just be LEGO sets.

A good TV adaptation can help a franchise a lot, as it did with the Fallout series. Unfortunately, there are few good adaptations. I'm worried that Netflix will screw it up like they did with The Witcher. I hope Sony pays attention.

Hey! Thanks for following the channel for so long 🙏🏼🙂 Good question. It depends on how much time you want to spend in NG+ and how much you care about ending up with a complete / 100% save. If you want to do NG+ but also want get to 100% completion as fast as possible, then the most efficient thing to do is start NG+ after finishing the main story and then do Burning Shores only once in your NG+. If you don’t mind spending more time in the game/doing Burning Shores twice, then I would go ahead and do Burning Shores now. It’s not super long and you get some nice gear that you can take into NG+. Hope that helps!

Hi. Unfortunately, you can’t do that. You need to finish the main story again in your NG+ save to unlock Burning Shores. If you want to play Burning Shores now, you could go back to your original save and start Burning Shores there, but you won’t have any of the NG+ gear if you do that.

LEGO Horizon would be pretty fun. i think i'd be interested .. there are some other LEGO games that can be enjoyed by all ages. HZD remaster would be awesome.. they really need to bring the 2017 game up for ps5 and apart from the game. its the FMVs and the interactions with npcs where its presently laughable with stiffs who shrug their shoulders and apart from the main characters, much of the voice acting is laughable .. Oserams from the Bronx etc lol

HZD already told a very good story of Aloy and Rost and HFW is again Aloy story. Post-ZD time is good for game design but some fascinating story at pre-ZD time or some characters like Rost, young Ted Faro or Elizabeth or Sylens or Varl or the mad Sun-King or the hot zone crisis or many more. All of them have less gameplay value but are indeed excellent and exciting story waiting to be told. They should be prioritize for movies or Netflix shows because that is the only way to make them in front of people's eye. Keep focusing on Aloy alone is, to me, more or less just a demonstration of political gesture, feminism and pro-LGBT and a waste of opportunities for characters like Lance Reddick. He should have his own show.
