@@cykes5124 ugh. Am i a brainlet or is it because I'm in my pre-coffee stage of the morning? Wouldn't inflated demand mean that there is a high demand for those jobs therefore many available?
@BillClinton2284 жыл бұрын
@Anon I disagree... I've done plenty of interviews in the industry and I can tell you that a "capable developer" means different things to different people. Some companies will call you for a interview and even if you pass all their tests they wont hire you because you don't have experience with some obscure framework that they are using. Some companies will call you for a interview and even if you pass all they technical tests they wont hire you because someone in the interview process didn't like you as a person. So does someone not liking your personality mean that you are bad developer? The most ridiculous interview I ever did was for a C# developer position for a financial institution and they didnt hire me because I didnt have any sales skills... yes you read that correctly, I asked them what I could improve on after the interview and they said they need someone with sales experiece. I was very confused and looked through the job spec about 3 times and sales was nowhere to be found... so by THEIR definition I'm not a "capable" developer because I'm not good at selling!!!🤣🤣🤣 Some developers I've worked with didn't know how ajax works in web development... do you consider them as capable just because they "somehow" managed to get a job?
