I’ve been going to Longwood yearly since 1971 when my aunt took me and my brother there for our first visit. Now I go with my daughter every year, she was there when she was just a few months old. She will bring her family too when she has children. I love seeing how things change every year and am saddened when some places close, for example there was a time when you could walk up the bell tower, but they do a wonderful job. I pray it never closes ❤

A truly amazing place! I first visited in the 1970’s. It’s only gotten better. But as beautiful as it is in this video, it’s even better at night when the Christmas lights shine. Awesome. Great video, thanks for the look-see!

I grew up by Longwood. I considered it my backyard. It used to be to be free to get in. Now it’s a little expensive and also crowded. Christmas time is the worse time to visit simply because of the crowds. In fact, it’s pretty much crowded all the time no matter what time of the year one goes. To us, Longwood has become too commercialized and we no longer visit that often.

It’s definitely a busy place that’s for sure!! I really enjoy going when it first opens to avoid the crowds! It’s very quiet and peaceful early morning. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
