i was playing spaceworld crystal for a while to get my experience with the new pokemon but having a game with the original story (more or less) is amazing and i cant wait to try it out. great video btw

seeing this gameplay feels like i am in an alternate universe. That being said, i would not be shocked if this abrupt change from this (end of a series) to the final game we got was linked to the porygon anime episode drama that went down. It explains why imposter prof oak shows up in these things and tcg but never got realised

Dude if Nintendo is really about their money they would make this game complete and make it a whole nother universe not cannon with the main one. I’m talking about it make it with GBC graphics the way it was supposed to be so we can see how this game would’ve been and Nintendo also gets a good payday it’s a win win. I mean id literally pay like $60 for this idc if it would use the old GBC engines

I get really sad when people argue against ideas like this. I don't see a problem with releasing an updated GBC with old cartridge compatibility along with new carts. Maybe wifi download capability

Since you mention that there is no information yet if Giovanni is Silver's father in the 1997 demo, I believe that Giovanni is unrelated to Silver in the 1997 demo and was raised by his mother.

Sounds like either the patched ROM was corrupted somehow or the ROM has some weird filename causing problems. I haven't used that particular emulator before, so I don't know if there's something else causing problems.

Yes, there are. I don't know the rate but I believe it's the same as GSC.

thank you for sharing. I finally got to play it and am making a full mono scapped team... well and Oddish is there for now as a Cut Slave. But maybe I will use the Grass/Poison type evolution Bolossom which I guess counts as a new Pokemon or "Nihon" regional form. And it's fun because there are no spoilers put on my face. I have to actively look for them. Trying to catch Rinring right now. I hope it doesn't disappoint me. There are way too many Baby Pokemon and you can't get any in the wild (at least of which I have Dex Entries). Maybe I will fill the Pokedex, when it's even possible to catch stuff like Mew.

@@MerryBytes thank you for sharing. I will try it out once I beat the one I just downloaded. It kinda is a weird feeling that I get more excited to play a demo with scrapped Pokemon than the modern ones. I am excited to own Madame more than I likely would if I had a Sirfetched. Admittedly, getting Galarian Farfetch to evolve is a pain in the ass since you have to crit with it trice. But I feel it would be the same if that evolution came out back in Generation 5.

It's given to you by an NPC to the right of Silent Hills, where there used to be some rocks blocking the path. I believe that the rocks disappear after you reach Prince Town and talk to the NPC near the waterfall.

I tested a Master Ball Gameshark cheat and it worked for me. 0101D8D8 0199D9D8 will replace the first item in the ball bag with Master Balls.

@@stankhunter666 I searched "pokemon crystal master ball cheat" and found that particular cheat on the 7th result or so. Alternatively, "pokemon crystal gameshark codes" or similar should give you some results too.

By Pokemon don't exist if they're not in the demo do you mean if they don't spawn naturally you can't catch them?

I mean that they were straight up removed in this ROM hack if they didn't exist in the 1997 Spaceworld demo. For example, Lugia didn't exist back then, so it's not available at all in this ROM hack. You can't get Lugia with cheat codes or save editing because Lugia simply doesn't exist here.

Hey! if anyones interested ive compiled by own list of glitches from playing through the game. Ive found how to turn the screen palette for all the towns from green to. Pkmn yellow style. By using the 4th gym . how to clone, walk through wall in kanto etc. Just reply to the comment il guide you.
