Uh, yes, but that wasn't the issue. Otto is a widower; that coin was given to him by his wife - the day they met. Even if it had been a copper penny, he would have fought the same for it.

Lmao movie script writers have done untold damage to the public's brain. One, if the coin was do valuable why did he hand it over to a stranger who is obviously going to do a disappearing coin trick. Two, an 1964 silver quarter is worth like 4 dollars, grow up, it's not like he handed over a 4000 dollar collectible or a piece of bullion.
