Omg man that's a hard watch, things can go wrong so quickly doing the things we love, makes me think hard about the risk vs reward factor when riding trails 😮

I am a little confused. other pictures you posted of the helmet show the chin guard being broken. Which took me down a rabbit hole of helmet chin guard material durability. Being that helmet shells are made from differing materials and the protruding chin guard design compared with motorcycle helmets would indicate that this design is a folly. Companies like POC seem to have a more rounded design. When you feel better in the months to come maybe you could look into this aspect of helmet design.

The left side did snap off. Possibly because the impact was so hard.... Right side stayed on.
