fun fact: most arcanists' names are not actually their names!! they use words that are related to their arcane skills/lore as their codenames. (for example, baby blue's real name is rebecca, shamane's real name is pushya etc) only a few use their actual names !! (like regulus, matilda, oliver fog etc) (◍•ᴗ•◍)

And subscribed. I likewise deeply love the voice of the narrator, he's absolutely fantastic. You know, the TN is a bit rough at the beginning, but the way he hits the lines is mwah, chef's kiss.

HE'S SO GOOD AAAAAA i can't stop fawning over his voice. it just hits right with that gravely texture and deep tone... i love it so much. thank you to his voice actor for doing so good with these snippets.

Oh my god. When you mentioned the Butterfly Effect, only then did it click in my brain. Even just one flap of a butterfly's wings can cause a hurricane. Might be a stretch, but I just keep spiraling into how well crafted Reverse's story is.

3:52:13 Items like the truth serum or other items related to the story are basically "side quest items", so you can turn them in as soon as you have them for a reward (usually clear drops and/or some lore).

Don't wanna sound too mean, but part 2 is much more refreshing and enjoyable to watch without the constant interruptions by chat.

I agree with you lol

not mean at all!! this is totally valid. 🥺💜 i only recently started playing through quests live (since i prefer doing recorded playthroughs too!) so hopefully i will only get better at striking that nice balance between stream interactions + letting the story shine. thank you for checking this out regardless!! 💜💜
@chuchubag3 ай бұрын
Oh definitely. Specially without the chat hinting at future events in the story that may or may not affect Silo's experience. Reverse's story kinda needs you to be immersed in it too as there are a lot of details that comes up later down the road.
@nebulagray883 ай бұрын
@@silopunk Keep it up, your videos are fun to watch thus far. Maybe you can just assign a few people you trust who play the game and refer to them for any questions, just so your gameplay is a lot smoother instead of reading all chat says.

About Vila she is one the new chars in 1.8 When you play chapter 2 this saturday she will be already out. Maybe you can react to her character trailer beforehand to see if she interests you. She is considered „meta“ but no reason to pull if you find other banner characters more interesting :)
@necrofish003 ай бұрын
She's a really good healer for plant teams, at least; plant is the afflatus with the least amount of mitigation units, and Vila's banner comes with Avgust, another healer. I'd do an either-or pull focus where if you get Avgust, don't need to pull for Vila, and if you get Vila, don't need to pull for Avgust. Otherwise your main plant healer is La Source, who is still shockingly powerful but suffers in big boss fights.

The question of Sotheby’s is found in chapter 2 so you couldn’t know the answer ^^ I watched a Jp game play too because Schneiders Va there is Aoi Yuki my favorite seiyuu :) Manus use their knowledge of history to accelerate the turning points to bring out the storm faster like here with the Stock Market crash The Narrator voice is soo good Didn’t met someone who didn’t like him xD

Today is another great today cause I found another person that's playing Reverse 1999. I'm excited to see you play the rest of the main story chapter and play the story events too. Reverse 1999 is the only gacha game I'm playing now ever since I stop playing Fate Grand Order since Reverse kind off hits that same itch I had with FGO. Although the big reason that push me to play Reverse (Day one player btw) is when I saw the ad for the Regulus character trailer. The moment she spoke I immediately recognize it was Carina Reeves who voices Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and as a huge Xenoblade fan well..... I caved in. Thankfully I got Regulus who I've build even though I don't use her that much cause I have characters that are more better than her. Anyways I'm excited to see your playthrough of Reverse 1999 and maybe catch your livestreams as well. Although I do preferred your recorded playthroughs instead cause you won't get chat interrupting you and you chat being weirdos with spoiling stuff. Also I really like your Vtuber model too. Good day Silo.

Oh btw Silo, that gravelly voice person narrator guy or we the fandom call him "Grandpa". You might have miss some of his narration from the earlier stages of Chapter 1. I also want to add that, those trails with extra lore bits and sometimes you get to talk to Grandpa, you can kind of miss them since sometimes you don't need to do them in order to get to the next stage. So I want to say is make sure you look around the area of a completed stage before doing the next stage (plus doing those can get Traces to unlock next main story chapter in case you don't have enough and Hard mode is too difficult to do with your current characters and levels). That's all the tips I want to give. I will now keep my mouth shut unless asked for more tips.
@cordialkiana3 ай бұрын
I just wanted to add so that it may be easier for Silo is that you probably noticed that one can look for any missing trails by seeing if there are any rhombus shapes next to the stage title. Those rhombus shapes will be filled in with yellow and then disappear when completed. This is actually a new feature since before we only knew if there were actually trails or not by dragging back and forth through the area for each stage. Anyways, sometimes, or I think even most of the time, those shapes will only appear after you complete the stage so make sure to double check before moving onto the next stage. One simple way to spot any missing trails in a chapter is to look through the "Atlas" and search for any "???" in place of the named trails, it will show what stage it's on. If a trail wants something from you, then you'll probably get the item needed later so you can go back to that trail and submit it if you don't already have it. Edit: If you're curious enough and don't mind clicking the mouse button repeatedly and wasting a minute to explore the other choices when talking with Grandpa (Deep-voiced Narrator guy), then you can just press the 'X' button to exit and restart, you'll be able to see the responses to the other options as long as you don't press the orange "Complete" button at the end of it. Though it's understandable if you don't since talking to Grandpa is exhausting from deciphering the riddles alone😅

You keep talking about how bad you are at videogames and while you are mechanics-incurious which can cause understandable fumbles sometimes I find it so funny you are effortlessly picking up the story and its setting, following along with the developments, intuiting the direction, and keeping track of all the characters. You always stop to drink in the art and pick up small details. You read the supplementary material and chapter titles carefully. You are GREAT at videogames and those videogames? Visual novels Gamer Advice Corner -There are little diamonds next to stage names - those tell you the traces done on that node. Clearing them helps with story progress rewards. If you receive a trace item like Truth Serum, use it right away to get those story progress rewards faster. -PLEASE unlock your character portrayals.......Those are eidolons, and have to be manually unlocked like an eidolon. You got a 33% boost to aPPle's healing when you pulled him. Leilani now gives you extra ultimate charge. La Source drains 3 whole ultimate charge from the enemy. -Try to have a buff up constantly during the fight. There's no need to wait to use it, particularly with characters who buff with incantations. Units like Sonetto and Necrologist should be treated like Tingyun, Bronya, or Fu Xuan. -Merging charges your ult faster, so if a character does something useful on ult, prioritize merging their cards. -Read your skills!! Click around, check what changes on tier 2 cards! Since you got great pulls with units you can use in basically every fight, I'd write down the gimmick of your favourites (i.e. "La Source drains ults", "Leilani powers ults", "Necrologist has resurrection and dispels enemy buffs", "Sonetto cancels attacks"), so when you're struggling against a boss, you can just check your notes for Character That Makes Fight Go Gooder and don't have to rifle through their kits over and over. I'd suggest a notepad file or a piece of paper ready before next playthrough; it's unfair to expect you to just remember that much technical info off the top of your head, especially when you're about to have a chat repeating ambiguous and conflicting info. If you don't read the skills, imagine trying to divine what they're hollering about

@@silopunk Yay, I'm glad it helps! I think I will stick to VODs for a bit because the stream made me realize I'm a wretched backseat gamer you shouldn't suffer through but you've been progressing really well!! Quickly plowing through a game that is built for good meta is such an information overload so the slow start is only natural. :P

Part of the reason why the English VO is wonky at the beginning is because it's not a 'translation' per se, it's the original and first voice over/dub for the game. It was created before any of the other voice overs. R:1999 is the only gacha that I can think of that's 'meant' to be played with the English voice track. That's why even the Chinese trailers for the game have the characters speaking in English with Chinese subtitles.
