Jay I love this format - I love being able to go to a street and know what I can find there. Often reviews are hop scotch all over the place; I don't have time for that - I want to get off the metro, and stroll through the vetted choices. Brilliant. Also, I think I need a "carnet" of cards that say "JAY SENT ME" to give to the places I visit out of your POCKET plan. Brilliant.

Very well done vlog Jay! I think the new format will be immediately engaging even for first time viewers of your channel, and the idea of focusing on a single street works really well for eliciting that you-are-there feeling. Cool tour of the joints on that bit of the Marais. They all look super, but that lobster roll at the end looked the absolute business - slight bit of food envy watching you get stuck into it (and Cooper definitely had a hopeful glance haha). Fair play if the Boulanger keeps a straight face making the brioche, just so long as they’ve got the flavour right 😝 such is the kookiness of the neighbourhood....Nice work Jay 👍

A bit disappointed with your food recommendations today. I tried Homer’s several years ago & was seriously underwhelmed. Tried Lobster’s when it opened in the 17th & the squid ink brioche bun lobster roll was a revelation. Unfortunately that shop has now closed & moved to Levallois-Perret but I am still happy to go the extra 15 minutes for their lobster rolls. Also as someone who has been to Japan, in Paris, my go-to ramen restaurants are Ippudo & Kodawari, and Sanukiya for their udon noodles
