To me, it is amazing how you just say you'll be talking with a patient with Autoimmune Hepatitis like it's nothing out of the ordinary at all. Forty years ago when my mother was first diagnosed with that, it was after over a year of having the liver specialists at the Mayo Clinic scratching their hands trying to figure out what was wrong with her.

When I was at medical school ten years ago, we started at 8, ends at 6. Each lecture was packed with 200 pages . Lecturers were just going through the slides in lightning speed. After grabbing a quick dinner , everyone went to library to study our ass off. That was essentially the memory I had for my medical school.

Hello Izzy! Can you recommend a cheap and good enough mic to record sound in a small lecture room of 5-10 listeners and a speaker sitting few metres apart (have a look at videos in my channel for reference)? Cheers!!

I'm not quite sure what your setup is, so it really depends on the situation you want to record in. I personally use a shotgun mic for my videos as shotgun mics have good off-axis rejection. I personally use this mic: amzn.to/3FEnlzO For a more budget-friendly alternative I've heard great things about this one as a shotgun mic: amzn.to/3mGuKr8 There are loads of fantastic videos online reviewing these mics and they'll hopefully give you a better idea if the mic is suitable for your needs! 😊 Good luck! ❤️

Hi Izzy ! I just found out your channel through Ruri's intro about you guys podcast ! Great channel, definitely a hidden gem on youtube. You look a lot like Jessica Henwick, who's starring in the last Matrix movie that just came out. I guess that's what being half Asian does, but still, it's almost uncanny ! The 2 of you could easily pass as siblings. So here is a question for when you eventually do a Ask me anything 2 : How has life affected you as a half asian growing up in the UK, ingood and bad ways (you could list a few notable examples). Case in point : I'm myself a man of Taiwanese origins, but grew up in Belgium, and while it wasn't certainly nearly as bad as, say, somewhere in the middle of the US, there was definitely some instances of racism (mostly happening in school when I was in mid and high school, luckily I went to an art school in college, and that was alredy super diverse, so I didn't have to worry about that by then) that I didn't quite perceived as such when I was younger, but after going to live in Taiwan for more than a decade, and really experiencing what it is to be part of the majority instead of being apart of a minority, there are so many things I retrospectively figured out when I came back to Belgium. So I was wondering what's your experience on it.
