It's just called Reporting restrictions. for example if someone has committed a crime and there is a reporting restriction to protect the person before they been in trial for sentencing or whatever. If the person somehow comes out of the court completely innocent somehow but people have already reported when he hasn't been charged with anything.

Within hours of the lifting of the reporting restrictions the SAS has this videos out because 2 of the 20 monsters were from the Sikh community. These 2 have brought immense shame to the Sikh people not just in the UK but all over the world and they have not only acknowledged it but have apologised unreservedly. Sorry totally disagree about the judge. This judge never held them in remand. One absconded. The sentences some of them will be out in 5 years. These sentences don't fit the crime or the damage that is done to these children. What they have done is will last a lifetime. Some of these men will come out and life normal life's. While these children will be haunted for a lifetime. As a society I believe that we should push for harder sentences. Make these rape squads serve life. They destroy life's they should serve life. We need to put pressure on the government to change the law were these rape squads and pedophile rings are concerned

Thank you for posting this. I looked for the story this morning on the BBC's news website. It wasn't on the leading page of course but tucked away on the England news section and given, (certainly first thing this morning) less space than an article on bird watching. People coming from anywhere in the world are welcomed into the UK. We are pretty good at it. Britain is also petty good at absorbing and taking on certain, positive attributes from other cultures. But it has to be a two way street. Living parallel yet separate lives and calling it multiculturalism may, eventually lead to some terrible and unfortunately completely avoidable consequences. These consequences I fear will very much affect everyone including those who have chosen to make the UK their home, have fully integrated and have been of great benefit to the local communities in which they live as well as society in general. I absolutely love to meet people who's origins or that of their families are from outside the UK but have taken on and embraced the main tenants of British culture and the idea of being British first and foremost. Ex-pats in Spain or France would do well to adopt the same attitude Britain is still, predominately a white country. It is still, predominately an Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Norman country and it is still, predominately, (As far as its' history and culture are concerned) a Christian country. This is a narrative simply not reflected, in proportion by the vast majority of the main stream media. This, I think is one of the many reasons we have witnessed a rise and hardening in the counter narrative. This conservative, even right wing narrative will continue to grow unless issues like this are tackled openly, truthfully and without fear of hysterical recriminations. You simply have to have the fundamental right to criticise all religions, all cultures and all people without the tag of racism or such being thrown around. For someone with an Irish family the exposure of Catholic pedophile priests was a difficult thing to accept but it was right and to many, myself included, still hasn't gone far enough.The church still hasn't taken full responsibility for the actions of the perpetrators, those who helped shelter them and it's leaders persistent denials, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. It shouldn't matter from where you originated but it does matter that you see yourself, once here, as British. Britain in turn will love you as one of her own.

The sikh community should not be blamed for the involvement of two sikhs in this case. Sikh ideology does not embrace mindless violence and misogyny, as islam does. However, it falls to the sikh community to recognise the outrage and the values it shares with another victim of these crimes: Tommy Robinson. If the sikhs stand as one with Tommy on this issue, at the very least it will ameliorate false charges of racism.
