This is/was a beautiful movie! It conveys the feeling of love, regardless of circumstances. I think it is the most sensitive movie I have seen. Enjoy! ❤

Ford helped to create a brilliant film, that deserved more buzz, more acclaim. A well kept secret. However, when I watch Ford talk in these vignettes, OR TALK ABOUT ANYTHING... REALLY, Oh my, It is always slow chosen words and every statement comes out as "THE WORLD ACCORDINGTO THE "ALL KNOWING" TOM FORD". He is exhausting to listen to. He has done very well for himself for a "then" , cute l? ( & he used it), 1980's transplant in L.A. I suppose it is not what or who he did bank in those days, but he later did pull his weight for a little man running two fashion houses. And now his own. But a little humility would goes a long way. Whether he is talking about tailoring down a woman's dress, or his films, his manner is one of a top politician or moreso a top research doctor curing a disease. I don't dismiss that art is needed, it is beauty. But I do have to fast forward whenever he talks so slowly, each word, ( he must think) so cleverly chosen" - as if he is talking down to the viewer, because THE TOM FORD is always conducting a Master Class! In the end fashion, art, film - all of it should be appreciated, BUT PUT IN PERSPECTIVE. Mr. Ford, you are NOT talking about your cure for cancer, (although I wish he was), but about film, beauty and art. The others all talk about the film in a proper perspective. Words and complete meaningful sentances, observations etc. are all spoken about by the actors as they should. They aren't giving speaches. They talk like real peope, who respect the work, but seem to know it is JUST a film. Yes, a moving story and a great adaptation, but watch yourself speak. IT is like a, F.O.S politician SLOWLY expaining to the viewer what we already know. Your restrained way of talking "down" to the viewer. We are educated people. We get it, many of have read the books. OK, speak in a conversational mode and do not play off that your world of beauty surpasses all things of great importance. Especially knowing about your early days, it makes you seem like you are trying so hard to be pretentious with this life draped in culture that you lead. Colin & Miss Moore are on the level. Talking as human beings, (not like a robot), just treating each topic as it is. Celebrating a great finshed product and a little insight to their characters. If that is the way you speak about everything to everyone, they can see right through you. You are almost going for a rich man from Connecticut' drawl. (a quick reference would be "Auntie Mame" or "Mame". Take a quick look at the daughter who's to marry Christopher and her parents. It is that exact pretense you achieve) But even worse as you slow it down so much for those who "must know nothing", and are sitting on the floor around you, as you give your Master Class. You have created, (& copied), quite a character there. Maybe it is all an act? Why you should have been an actor, but you could only a one-note character actor with a pinky ring. Get real, come back down to earth, again you are talking like a doctor about your cure for some dreaded illness. Art/Beauty is necessary, but it is quite a bit far down on the list in reality and with all that's going on in our world. I wonder if you could do 5 minutes on climate change, (polar bears stuck on small floating pieces of ice). The timer is on ...GO! SPEAK ABOUT THIS HORRIFIC TOPIC. Moreso, do it with the fake dignity that you employ wgen talking about your achievements. Then do it as the, ( I will do anything, anyone to get ahead), ambitious short boy with great flipped back hair that landed in Hollywood 40 years ago. (mmm, maybe that's why you'e created the ever so well spoken, so knowledgeable about "beauty" MR. TOM FORD and his long & short SPEACHES. So ugly and so transparent! But in it's place, A SINGLE MAN was well adapted, but the actors really brought it to life.
