The Slightly Shambolic Shuffles are back! Apologies for all the background noise and terrible editing! And all the incorrect information... Watch at your own risk of boredom and possible loss of sanity.
Today, we are at The Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection, which has been in Bourton-on-The-Water in Gloucestershire for around 40 years. Be prepared for masses of personal nostalgia, struggles with compliance to government health legislation, poor lighting, lots and lots of Austin Sevens, strange cardboard cutouts of Roger Moore, Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg and the first of these videos for an awfully long time. Nothing untoward, then!
As an independent vehicle consultant, I take potential buyers through the whole car buying process from choosing a make and model to a vehicle handover and road tax. In addition to information on this service, I also have a selection of written and video reviews of cars that I have owned, hired, borrowed or have somehow come into my possession. Please use the Contact Me page on my website to get in touch, visit my Facebook page for latest updates and share this video if you like it! Thank you for watching.

What a marvellous warm atmospheric reminder of a much less complex period in history. That Riley Kestrel is a beautiful sporty looking thing. Without doubt a must visit museum. Thank you Sir.

No problem at all, sir! It was certainly warm, 33C degrees on the day of filming and probably more inside. I would certainly recommend a visit, sir!

What a very interesting Museum hopefully I will pay it a visit one day. I think you did a very good job Joseph under what were clearly very trying conditions.

We aim to please, sir! I was overheating a bit myself, especially in the mask, although I was ever so pleased to be able to bring this video to the channel. Ever so glad to hear that you enjoyed it!

I used to work there.. Don’t get me wrong it’s an interesting place although the exhibits haven’t changed over the past 25 years at least...

Thanks for watching! Yes, last went in around 1994. The final room I was in with the chequered tiling on the floor seemed remarkably similar to the title sequence of Brum from 1991, although the Invicta was definitely in a different room when I was last there. It was definitely worth going after all this time, although I don't know if I will go again next year, for example.

We aim to please, sir! It was around 32C when I filmed this, and the camera kept overheating, but we made it nevertheless, and it was a pleasure to have done it.

This brought back many fond memories when I was growing up during the 60’s and 70’s. I recognise a couple of the motorbikes as my Dad had them. Thanks for sharing 👍

No problem at all, would have done many more of these this year already had world events not turned out differently! Glad you enjoyed seeing all these older vehicles.

What a lovely museum, I have been to Bourton on the Water a couple of times but I didn’t know it was there! The Cotswolds is my favourite area of England, my mother was born near Stroud but hasn’t lived there since she was a girl (now 84) .

Yes, it's a lovely part of the world. It was great to be there, although wearing a mask and being in 33C heat did make for less than ideal filming conditions.... Definitely worth a visit and surprisingly reasonable entry fee too.

A fascinating look Joseph. I remember going nuts when I saw Brum - childhood memories!

Oh sir, I first saw him there in 1992. You can imagine just how nostalgic it was for me too! Brum was a big part of many a petrolhead's childhood, wasn't he?

A brilliant video. Loved the Triumph Herald, which was my Dad's first car, the Imp and Mini. All wonderful and original. A great place to visit for sure.

Yes, the Triumph Herald was an exceptionally early one, as they were launched in 1959! The condition was really good, not sure how much those are worth these days. Glad you enjoyed the video!

I can tell you, wearing a mask inside the museum was pretty unpleasant, but I did it.
