Great reaction guys, but also this exactly what Daemon wanted, he asked for a son, they don’t show when he says that to blood and choose, but the only time we hear the sentence “ a son for a son “ his when he says to Rhaenys in the begging of the episode, and then blood says it again so… also in the book he specifically asks for Aegon’s son, and the whole scene is more brutal. Also after this is WAR WAR, Aegon is gonna go crazy, it’s game time. Love the channel 😊

The stark story about dragons and the wall is very significant… dragons refuse to cross the magic of the wall so Danny’s dragons would have never been able to save John snow when they were looking for a walker… no dragon would cross the wall

Are you sure? It said the dragons refused to cross by their own ovulation but if the rider were to ride them over the wall, it doesn't say the dragons will disobey. The dragons just chilled on the wall. So Dany commanding her dragons to go over the wall might have gave them the courage to fly over it.

In the book Blood and Cheese force the queen to choose one of her two sons to be killed. Once she chooses they say to the boy "You hear that boy? Your momma wants you dead" and then they kill the other son instead. Cruel as hell.

The assassins asked what they should do if they didn't find Aemond, and Daemon looked at them meaningfully. So it's not a mistake, he gave them tacit agreement to take revenge. In the book, he basically said to kill not Aemond, but the son of Aegon. In general, it’s funny why many people don’t notice this detail in Daemon’s character. He killed his first wife, strangled Rhaenyra when she lost her child... Ordering the murder of a child fits very well with his character. I didn’t like the scene, it was again turned around to please the writers, but we saw cute and sometimes comical interactions between Aegon and his family. Apparently, the last time before the real war.

An interesting fact: Helaena ia might also be pregnant, since we can see a third little crib in the room (next to the door, you can see it behind her in the scene where Aegon looks for Jaehaerys). In the book, she and Aegon already had 3 children (twins Jaehaerys and Jaehaera and a little son Maelor. And in the book Helaena has to choose which son to kill. She refuses and offers her life but Cheese and Blood say they will grape her little daughter and then kill all of them if Helaena doesn't choose. She chooses the younger one because she believes he's too young to understand but Cheese says to him "you hear it, boy? your momma wants you dead"- and they kill the other son, leaving Helaena with the son she has chosen to kill. As you can see, the book is far worse. And Alicent was also there, while in the show she's with Cole. To be honest, I don't understand this change. ) but here the writers decided to postpone the birth of the third one because they wanted Aegon to have the same situation as Viserys: Viserys had to choose between Rhaenyra and Daemon and Aegon now has to choose between Jaehaera and Aemond.

Great to be back with you guys! I wish we could’ve saw Alicent, Otto, & Aegon’s reaction to Aemond telling them he killed Luke. Alicent & Ser Cunnilingus Cole are straight hypocrites it’s only been 10days since Luke was killed Alicent ain’t even wait a fortnight after her husband’s death to f*ck a kings guard! Cole say he couldn’t sully his white cloak for Rhaenyra but happy to do it for Alicent. Luke’s dragon Arrax was from Syrax’s egg so both of their sons died. I was surprised Aegon wanted to be a good ruler but Otto & clubfoot will ruin him. Poor Heleana & her children are the only ones I pity on team green. Blood & cheese was way worse in the books.

Syrax, Rhaeneras dragon is probably the mother of Luke's Dragon. So she feels Rhaeneras pain and her own. And, Luke is definitely dead. Daemon is THAT DUDE! Visarys failed everyone when he refused to clearly define his wishes and control his wife. He was a nice man, but a terrible king. He should have never removed Darmon as his hier and allowed him to marry Rheanera. He let the Hightowers control him and the realm and all of this is his fault. Daemon always knew it would end like this. This is EXACTLY what Daemon wanted. A son for a son. Strike fear in their hearts. Snatch them from their beds. The Greens killed Daemons DAUGHTER and Luke. And theres a hit on the whole family. "When you play the game of thrones you win or you die." Cersei said it best. Rheanera is gonna be pissed. And i think this will divide them. She won't respect this butchery. And she will be blamed for it. Daemon did more damage than good. And she cant discipline him. This is why a Queen should never marry. Its impossible to serve your duty, realm and husband at the same time. Anyone else, she would probably execute for this.

I think Daemon will be pissed they did this. Even though he did want “a son for a son”, those weren’t his orders. He wanted Aemond for a specific reason. Aegon can just have another heir. Also, I (Sheim) think they will lose support from other houses for them doing this (houses that aren’t aligned to either side). We’ll have to see tho I could be wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️

Alicent and Criston sent the guards away from the royal apartments so they could bone. 😅 They're also in Rhaenyra's old room. Did you notice that Helaena's escape path was the reverse of Rhaenyra's trek to Alicent's rooms after giving birth? Both Rhaenyra and Helaena held a child. One journey brought news of life, the other death. I thought that was a really clever piece of storytelling.

I still find this episode good for the most part but their are issues i have with it mostly for the last 5 minutes.. Everything with the blacks was very predictable while everything with the greens was intriguing. Another thing aemond didnt take a dragon he earned and bonded with it, dragons r not pets n they r not inherited. Daemon orchestrated this event n he wanted a son for a son. Its not the same thing however because this will significantly weaken rhaenyra claim to the throne and killing a toddler means now their r no lines left.
