“Two and a half to two and a half” this is one of my favorite tv shows ever. I rewatch Charlie’s seasons all the time with my mom. No hate to Ashton Kutcher but the brotherly dynamic of Charlie and Alan are my favorite seasons. You get better storylines with brothers than friends.

Kutcher had his moments, but didn’t fit the tone the show had established for itself. Most of his best episodes were in seasons 9 and 10 in my book.

Investigate the timing of when the episode aired vs what other work Missi Pyle was doing at that time. It's possible she was just committed to another show/movie and wasn't available for the one episode that recast her.

The episode Missi Pyle wasn't in, A Jock Strap in Hell, aired in October 20th 2008, if we play it safe and include the 6 things she did in 2007 too, got 16 shows/movies across the 2 years: __2007__ Heroes The Wedding Bells Live! Missi Pyle was in 21 movies and nine TV shows between her first and second appearance as the character…she was incredibly busy then so it was more of her not being able to do the role again and not having issues with it the whole change of character is just a cheap excuse, she was getting a lot more lucrative work so didn’t need the show but reactions to her character changing might have caused a need to bring her back and pay her more making it easier to get her again

If I had to take a guess as to why the role was recast for one appearance it’s probably because of either the theory stated in the video about Missi Pyle not being comfortable actually doing some of the scenes that were being eluded to; or she probably had a scheduling conflict and couldn’t be there to film the character’s second episode and the show decided to make that specific episode without her instead of delaying it which was a possibility given that it’s a sitcom with an episodic format. I know it’s weird to think but the people behind the show have proven they can be stingy, especially in the final 4 seasons
