As you get older nostalgia will bring you in touch with your mortality which helps bring a sense of inner peace as you retrace the steps of your life and experiences.😊

Gary Carter was the heart and soul of any team he was on. Glad he got his World Series in ‘86

I always liked the Expos and enjoyed watching games at Olympic Stadium on TV. Being from NY I was (and still am) a Mets fan and I can tell you I still remember the day they signed Gary Carter. I was at a 7-11 on Long Island and saw him holding up a Mets jersey in the paper and I just knew then and there we were going to win a World Series. I keep hoping Montreal will get a baseball team again.

Down here in South Florida, I remember hearing Warren Cromartie's baseball show on the radio before Marlins games years ago. Gary Carter also 1st tv broadcaster for the Marlins. Remember Sanderson on the Yankees in the late 80s.

Dawson indeed is in the HOF. I remember when Spier played with the Giants too. Barry Bonnell played with my Mariners. Wasn’t Danny Ainge a blue jay in that era? Probably never appeared on a poster I’d guess. Raines is in the HOF.

I'm primarily a Hockey Guy viewer but this is probably my favorite video I've seen of yours. I've recently found myself over the past 6 months or so starting to look backward slightly more than forward, and the changes I've gone through are starting to sink in MUCH more all of the sudden. It's nice to hear similar perspectives and experiences about this.

Those jays jerseys are so sick. I almost bought one at the game this weekend but couldn’t justify the cost

Danny Ainge NBA & MLB (not sure of the spelling)
@KevinWindsor19712 ай бұрын
Danny Ainge was the Jays 3rd baseman when Len Barker of the Indians pitched his perfect game in 1981. Alfredo Griffin was the shortstop. Griffin is the only player in MLB history to be involved in 3 perfect games; all 3 on the losing team (against Barker, Tom Browning, and Dennis Martinez). Another MLB and NBA player: Chuck Connors. Brooklyn Dodgers, Cubs, and the Celtics. Lucky for him the acting thing worked out. He went from the worst shot in the East to the best shot in the West.

the expos legacy is that they could draft like no other team in their era and could see not just baseball talent but pure athletic talent in general . Dawson, rogers, Cromartie, Wallach, carter, Pedro, Vlad sr, even tom brady(yes you read that correctly) list goes on. unfortunately they had to leave canada

It would be cool to see photos of a younger Shannon if you have some. We hear all these stories and I always try to visualize them in my head as you tell them.

Age is a weird thing. People have no idea I'm as old as I am, but I sure feel as old as I am.
