Do i need a good bridge to do and learn the A-twist gumbi?

No not at all. Pause the video at any point. Where is the bridge? There isn't any.

i can only do a twist gumbi, norrmal gumbi just feels awful and i dont get any speed from the setup... :/

You are doing wrong in that case. Many people can't gumbi for some reason. I have a good gumbi tutorial from last Autumn. Maybe it will help. The most important thing is to think about getting the leg that swings up during gumbi takeoff to up and around as fast as possible. This requires correct use of hips and timing with the hand use.

It's actually fun if you ask me It was weird at the beginning though but it's really fun to have when you done learning it
