Having lived in the Philippines 29 years and being American I would advise you not pour money into an apartment it’s not uncommon for the land lord ask you to move out and they re rent the place for more money because you upgraded the place I’ve seen that happen a few times.

That was a interesting condo view that size in the Philippines. Last time I seen something that size was when I was station in Japan. Which would have cost so much more money. Excellent setup. He even made it look roomy with the drum sets too. Thank you for that great view in the Philippines. From US American Air Force Security Police Military veteran who was station in Clark Air Base, back in the day.

nice place, the rent prices vary according to location. In this video the rent prices are relatively lower. Living in places like Manila, Angeles City or cities near by the prices are higher, but way less than U.S. or European prices. This is a accurate video for a "single" expat wanting to move or temporary live in the Philippines.

I guess my question would be how long of a lease could I get if investing $1400 into "pre paid rent". Place looks nice but if only a one year lease that's $200 a month. Still good value but I'd be looking for like a 3 year lease if going through the trouble.

Cheap but to small for us, just not what we are use to. We rented a 2 bed, 2 bath, 2 kitchen, 2 storey end unit town house with a small balcony & a covered parking slot just off a main road in a gated compound for $275 Canadian per month. It's new & only about a 10 minute drive to SM City Pampanga & the NLEX. We have room for guests to stay & even plenty of extra parking. I'm not saying your friends place isn't fine for one person just that it wouldn't work for us.

@admindesk27602 жыл бұрын
Impressive for the price! I might go insane in such a small space. The only way I could do it is if there was an outdoor living area that could also be enhanced. Like your outdoor Cabana area outfitted with a TV and all the trappings. Yeah, that would make this a contender. But as for Kenny, I hope he gets a lot of enjoyment out of it long-term. ... AND BTW, could you take a guess in how much square feet he has? I'm guessing 15 ft. X 10 ft.... that's 150 square feet???? Could that be???
@walkerskii2 жыл бұрын
Nice video thank you! This is a sincere question, why does he put the TVs mounted so high up? It hurts my neck to look up like that, but maybe there is there a good reason he mounted the bedroom TV near the ceiling and the living room nearly as high?

Less than $100/ month and $1400 in improvements for longterm stay is a deal! Nannies rent "weekender" rooms for $200 a month here in Toronto,and a batchelor apartment is $1000, ,one bedroom apartments $1200. We are expecting 20 cmto 30 cm of snow today to tomorrow, I still have to shovel the other half of driveway that got almost 2 feet of snow 2 weeks ago, ran out of places to throw it to. We need to start our Immigration process , regain Philippine citizenship.
