I just love your 'natterings', Peri, as well as your photos and gorgeous weaving! I see you are up to 570 subscribers now - congratulations. I had a bike like Gertrude years ago and always regretted parting with it.

@@Jacquiandteddy hey thank you. It’s nice to know people do enjoy me ‘babbling’ on! 😂😂 It will be good to get back to the weaving. I do love my bike. I only paid £80 on FB marketplace- maybe you could pick up another one! 😊🌸

Morning, how have I never seen you before, love your video. Looks like I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. I love walking along the canal looking at all the boats and nature. Our nearest one is the Kennet and Avon and we were up there last Friday, wondering around at Devizes Caen Hill locks. Anyway, glad you popped up, I will take my knitting this afternoon into the garden and watch a few more..xxx

Hiya Sue, glad you found my Vlog and enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy watching the others with your knitting! The Kennet & Avon has some lovely areas along its canal. Don't fancy tackling the Caen Hill flight though! LOL

Hi Peri. Your woven items are lovely and very well staged. I have only just discovered your channel and watching through all your previous videos I was interested about your breast cancer story. Then I saw your age and how during lockdown you had taken up weaving. I am 68, had DCIS breast cancer, an implant and now have two very uneven breasts like you. During lockdown I watched lots of KZbin videos and taught myself patchwork. So lovely to come across a lady I share so much with. 🤗

Morning sweetie. So pleased you are relaunching the weave, it'll do really well. I miss my bike, in Germany I went everywhere on it with kids, dog and picnics. Last month started to look on marketplace for a dutch bike so I can potter around here. Have a great trip ❤❤

@@blackpooltownvideo hey you, how’s things going ? Oh do get another bike! I actually bought ‘Gertrude’ on Facebook marketplace too. She was virtually brand-new and cost me £80 that was about two years ago. And interestingly the woman that owned it used to live in Oxford and would use it to ride around all those lovely streets near the universities/colleges but was now living and working in Stroud so she just didn’t need it anymore , hope you find one soon. I feel like Miss Marple when I ride it around the village. 😂😂🌸

Hey, Peri! New follower on FB. It is so exciting to hear about the re-launch! Been wondering what a gilly flower is so I did a search and of course it describes you perfectly. I enjoyed this video and wish you the best on your camping trip.

Definitely get Gillyflower weaving back up and running .... they are beautiful. Do limited pieces for limited months so that you can still do other stuff.

I also would like to get an old fashioned ladies bike, as you have, with the basket at the front, but I find my backside hurts so much from the saddle(I suppose the base of my spine) after just riding for a very short time! So I bought a big bum saddle, but ended up selling the last bike I got for £30 off the local free selling site, and I never put the big bum saddle on it, so still have it. Trouble is that I am now 67 years young, and there is a big hill to go up from my home, to get to the top of my country lane, then it is downhill to the local village, and I would love to be able to cycle there, because there is a little underground shop and cafe. I sold my car because I could not afford it anymore, and live in a very rural, isolated spot, so to be able to use a bike would be great. I did think about getting an electric one, but can not afford to! I love your weaving, it is sooo beautiful. Thank you for this great video Peri. Blessings from Jilly & Madge, and West Devon, England. xxx

Its a shame that the 'saddle issue' is stopping getting to the little cafe you mentioned. That sounds an intriguing place! Maybe you'll find the correct saddle one day. My saddle hurts a little at times too, but I have a very small cushion and its perfect!!! LOL . Maybe try that.....thanks as always for watching my Vlogs Jilly. Hope Madge is a happy dog today!

Hi Suzanne, nice to meet a fellow boater. After 10 years, do you miss it at all? Yes I do have a permanent CRT mooring on the canal so still very much amongst nature. The allotment is in the local village which my mooring is in. So I can cycle over if I'm feeling energetic! LOL..........Thank you for watching and subscribing. Hope you continue to enjoy.
