Aaliyah was so ahead of her time. She was destined to be one of the best. Her and Timberland were definitely a match made in heaven. They made revolutionary music together. Her music was so good that even today it sounds fresh. RIP Aaliyah.

This video came out after she died...she died a month after she released her last album. She died before her movie Queen Of The Damned was released too. And she was just casted in The Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolution but didn't get the chance to finish those movies. She was about to do big things in the movie industry as well as music. You should react to Try Again and Back In One Piece ft DMX...these were on the soundtrack to the movie she was in with Jet Li called Romeo Must Die. Oh and she did have a tomgirl vibe...react to her first song she put out when she was like 14/15 called Back and Forth. Also react to her songs I Care For You, I Don't Wanna Be, and I Miss You.

This is my song! It was a single from her last album in 2001, And every girl wanted that jumpsuit and leather pants, I know I did lol. But you should react to her very first single and video, “Back and Forth”. You’ll see the growth. She was 15 in that video and very tomboyish during her first album. In this video she was 22.

The video came out after her passing. They were trying to release Rock the Boat and More than a Woman back to back. So, they shot this video before Rock the Boat, but this video ended up being released some time around September 2001 (a month after her death). Was so sad and shocking how she died. I miss her talent so much. She would have produced and created some great music and movies if she was still here.

Tim deserved so much praise on this track. There is a slight sample from a Syrian performer named Mayada El Hennawy on this. It basically surrounds the whole song and gives off a Mideast flair. Also Mark Ronson from Uptown Funk fame is the DJ in the "club" scene and Rashida and Kidada Jones all make cameos in the vid.

Her in the white suit with her hair up had me weak in the knees. I think its the most beautiful she has ever looked, and she always looked so damn gorgeous. Its crazy because it was her last video.
