The answer’s probably going to be it depends on structure/grass, but what’s the right amount of line to leave between hook and weight? And what knot is best? I use the palomar knot.

Sandy Cohen it looks like he inserts behind the “gill” and then comes out in front of the “gill” without going all the way they the bait. Good question. Do you agree? Had to watch it several times to be sure
