I hope he takes some time to reflect on where things went wrong and work on himself so he can enter into a more stable, healthy and fulfilling relationship where he doesn't feel the need to constantly watch his back and calculate his partners motives and can just trust. It’s crazy how the left are actually the racists facists these days.. and don’t even you all supper hamas, you have elected officials that support hamas, the Ivey league institution overran with hamas supporters spouting openly antisemitic rhetoric. The only reason they don’t currently vote republican is because imagine what would happen to his community. It would crumble, of course proving my point. If he came out and said the left is clearly for more dangerous to the nation, which it is, so you should vote republican until the democrats come back to reality. Imagine you ideologues would lose it. So he is audience captured.and this you know is what normal people do, imagine being so weak minded so brainwashed you are letting a political party own your vote without having to do shit for it. All because you don’t wanna be called names.. lmao and you know this was famously a prominent nazi technique, to accuse others what you are quilty… and boy isn’t that true, the party of punching segregation calling the right racist, the party colluding with social media to censor and deplatform , text book facism. The real important thing about hobbies in relationships is that you need to *respect* your partners hobbies. You don't have to share hobbies as long as there is respect within that area of the relationship. It's much easier to build relationships with people who enjoy the same things as you, because we don't need to spend the time and effort to understand and respect their interests. This is why so many relationships have issues with video games. If someone doesn't like that their partner plays video games, it's usually because they don't respect it as a hobby.

I have had the pleasure to meet him and hang out and played dominos with him, he is a blast. This was when he was doing comedy shows in Montreal but since Aba & Preach have jumped in popularity, they were big then but now they are widely known. A few months ago I went to Montreal and saw him on the street and he remembered me and greeted me, it felt good because he is someone I have only met in person like 4 times before. One fun fact about Aba is that he doesn't drive, he rides his bike around town and that's how I bumped into him. I feel proud of him in a weird way because he is still so down to earth.

Aba is a great friend. Notice how he showed up in person, brought a gift for his birthday, and even made a point to touch him on the shoulder a few times. Human touch like that is incredible, and lads don't do it enough. Humans require it. Even if you can pat a mate on the back, give a hug after a time apart, or even just a hand on the shoulder going through a rough patch, there's nothing like it. Lads, be there for the boys 💪 Apart from this instance, as Destiny is a girl's name...

Loved this conversation. It made me think about what I need and want in a relationship and how those things are established. Also it's great to see guys talk about this. I feel like Aba's perspective on yelling and verbal abuse and shock at the type of speech during arguments might be a necessary thing to think about. Everybody is totally different but I would totally see that as verbally abusive and I couldn't handle it. It's so interesting how it can be totally normalized and how conflict resolution can be so different across different relationships. I hope there are more talks like this with Aba.

Honestly, our entire fucking culture revolves around with-holding compliments for some reason. While too many compliments becomes demeaning, or flattery, too little leaves you feeling like you are never quite certain what others think of you. This is for good reason, too, as gossip and hearsay are universal truths. If you want to avoid just becoming an asocial hermit, you need some occasional, genuine validation. Your friends deserve to have some validation, and your mate ABSOLUTELY deserves it.

The most important things in a relationship are shared values, healthy communication, and respect. Especially when it comes to women because once they lose respect for you the relationship is over. It may take a day, week, year, or decade but the entire time they will let you know that they are unsatisfied and want out. Edit: Destiny I wish you the best of luck during these trying times. Please remember that how you are feeling isn’t who you are it is where you are in life. Things will get better and worse at times but your strength will endure.

I'm an immediate conflict resolver, and my partner is not. If I sense that our conversation is gravitating towards a conflict, or if she starts shutting down, we have already established through healthy communication that she just needs time to process whatever issue we may be having and we will talk about it later. This has resulted in 100% of the conflicts we've experienced ending happily for both sides. I've also found that sometimes the party that often shuts down will say hurtful things prior to shutting down, and it's important that the party on the receiving end does not reciprocate and holds their partner accountable for the things that they said. Basically, it's on the party that shuts down to let their partner know that they love them and that they just need to process whatever disagreement. Then, it's on the other partner to respect that boundary and wait until they are finished processing to try and resolve the issue. Then, both parties can walk through the situation together and identify key items that began the argument and how they feel about them and come up with a solution as to how to avoid the same issues in the future.

By their very nature, open relationships are not conducive to a lifelong marriage. They do not possess the deep commitment required to maintain a strong marriage nor do they allow for a unique and singular emotional/psychological/physical bond with one person that assists in sustaining a lifelong marriage. Whatever the direct reason for the breakup of an open relationship, the underlying problem is its feeble nature. They cannot weather situations that leave strong, healthy relationships unaffected. Open relationships are like unhealthy immune systems. They can't handle all of the situations life throws at them. While the cause of death could be the flu, the underlying problem was that the unhealthy immune system couldn't fight off the flu. The bottom line is that there's a reason monogamous relationships have been the gold standard for most successful human societies. They are optimized for building strong families and greatly reduce the risk of fractured relationships.
