I could feel your reluctance in here, and don't blame you! "No, I don't want to go past that room, I'm sure someone is in it" or "no, I don't want to go look at that opening in the floor, because no way in hell I want to climb down, or see what's stashed in it" LOL.. bless your heart for overcoming fear just to show us.

Hey Tanya, glad you get the sense of real time adventure because i do like to keep the video along those lines! :-) In the back of my mind I do think the suburbs homes can have squatters which have come across recently so I`m a little bit wary for sure in these earlier ones. It is cool to get the feel of the house as every one is different :-)

I went through hundreds of houses like this one, in the 70s when they were all torn down for blocks of flats. They were my playground. Always old newspapers under the lino and carpet, lead on the roof, brass light fittings and switches, old WW2 Helmets under the house....good times.

Hi Urbex Indigo! The property being demolished was once owned by a Stewart Roy Hecker a medical practitioner who died in 1954. Very interesting about the cellar door that appeared to be blocked off. Is this an entry to the unground tunnels? Wonder if you can lift the bricks out and see what is under them to reveal what has been concealed underneath?
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Hey Julz thanks for watching! I`m intrigued on how you found out that info??? lol Usually we have to pay to find out about that sort of property history. :-) Perhaps the seller got filled in, a small food seller was not un common back then, very basic small rectangle room. :-)

That place did feel creepy. The old clawfoot tub is quite valuable here in the states. Everytime a door creaked or there was a bang I jumped. The second part of the house didn't feel as spooky. What were the nuts scattered about the verandah? Beautiful floor tile out there and in the bathroom.
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын

Urbex Indigo. Look EXACTLY AT -- 3:16 ! How could it be a wall when we are looking out a widow? I'm not saying it 'is' a ghost but I see a head, arms, body type thing. Maybe I'm wrong? YES!!! I'm very interested in ghost/sprites/EVPs. !!!!!! My mother never liked the sprite board but a friend of hers did & did a session with my mother & me there. The thing spelled out;"I love Peggy." Paula my mother's friend never mentioned my mom's name. "I love Peggy. (My mom's name) I hate Paula. She keeps me in the dark." We were trying to think of what that could mean. I asked Paula where she keeps the board...she said in the closet. Ahhh? Hello,,, it's DARK in the closet when the door is shut. That's abit strange I'd say. Wouldn't you?
@ghostcityshelton93786 жыл бұрын
Urbex Indigo. Look right AT--3:16-- I'm sorry but it looks like a ghost to me, maybe 2? Stright ahead is not the side of the building to me, to me it looks like it's staring right at you. Or am I going 'off'?

That was once a pretty fancy house.. a Duplex?... with its two hallways.... But it has a common entry patio-- which makes me suspect something else... two (or more, maybe??) separate house holds, but one common entry area............... hmmmmmmmm... oh, I have my ideas! That chirping smoke alarm tells me this house hasn't been vacant THAT long, (though I have heard them do that for years.... ) creepy all the same........ That strange little door in the kitchen floor looks like a cold storage vault- dating the house to before refrigerators--sort of a cold cellar where milk etc. could be kept cool - extending its shelf life a bit. Those tiles in that entry are from the early 20th century--Teen's to thru the 20's-- quite elegant and expensive- as are those hardwood floors. I am puzzled why the molding was pull'd up all along the walls------ was someone looking for something?...I think that's the story behind the missing and or detach'd surrounds and mantels of the fireplaces-- for often behind them were places to store valuables. I have seen this in Parlour houses of similar vintage. Thanks for showing it .....:)
@urbexindigo51646 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes I got the same impression with the fire places and some floor panels pulled up that people were looking for stashed valuables. The main entry was indeed curious as it definitely looks to be two separate living sides. Like a share house but only the lobby part is communal lol. :-)

Paul, if you were a blonde teenage college girl you would be the first casualty in every horror flick. ‘Let’s go in the dark room first.”...I just had to laugh. Hi Paul It's been about a mth since I've seen any of your videos. I'm not being alerted like I should be. Hmmm Anyway, I was wondering why the floor boards were pulled out yet weren't removed. I'm not sure if people hid things behind them back in the day. Not a bad idea tho. :) I loved the tile in the bathroom where the claw foot tub was. Too bad that wasn't salvaged. I hope you keep making these videos and maybe soon I'll be alerted when you do. In the mean time thanks for doing this for your fans which I'm a big one❣ Take care and you be safe. Lots of Love going out to you💕 Sandra
@urbexindigo51646 жыл бұрын
It is probably a youtube glitch but try re hitting the alert bell and clicking it on and off a few times? You are correct, back in the day people used to hide all sorts of things under the floor and the first people who find these abandoned homes are usually looking for the taps/copper and anything in the ceilings of under the floor. Also another reason a section of the floor is opened is that the salvage team has gone under to assess if white ants and termites have got in the flooring. Thanks for for your support Sandra and hopefully you get some alerts again :-)
