The reverse threads on a wheel studs on one side versus the other side. I've run across that before. I just don't remember make or year. That was pretty old and it was a long time ago. Thanks for bringing on this barracuda

The Studebaker dads got is the same way, I’m glad you’re liking it

@323Fabrication I know what direction you want to go with your channel. Maybe peppering in episodes with classics for continue momentum. I'm pretty sure it was a Chevrolet which would I used to call the backward threads but that's a long time ago. Studebakers those are interesting cars.

I’d prefer to post nothing but the classic stuff but when I’m busy and working on other stuff I might as well post it. Otherwise I won’t have anything to post. I still work full time so there’s only so many hours in the day.
@CAROLDDISCOVER-20252 ай бұрын
@323Fabrication that's what I figured you were doing. I think it's a great thing when you post a newer stuff because it gives you variety. Also it is bound to help people along the way because you're showing them how to do something on particular vehicle motorcycle car otherwise. I was reflecting upon your shift you were making, including the rental property idea. It's really kind of hard to make a justifiable business just out of old cars. Because the amount of effort it takes you can put in less effort into newer ones or something else and have a better profit margin. That's my thoughts anyway

@ awesome! Can’t wait to see.

It’s related to those lowering springs I was asking you about today.

Great shape in those mid 60s cars..best news is Mother Mopar made a lot of parts fit a big selection so parts hunting for the headlight rings etc shouldnt be too hard...Looking forward to seeing where this goes...Was hoping to buy this model here in Australia, but settled on a 68 Fastback, the next best cool Barracuda!! Hahaha
@323Fabrication2 ай бұрын
It really seems to be a good car. I love the fastbacks for sure! 68 is a great year for the barracuda! I’ve been doing some research on all the suspension and brakes that interchange, shouldn’t be to bad to find parts

My little sister's 1st car was identical. My Dad rattle-canned the entire car Rustoleum Gloss Black, did the brakes, put on some used tires, and even fashioned a tailpipe out of galvanized fence top rail, and she was good to go.

That’s awesome I dig it! Your dad must be a cool dude!

Looking good. Great find. Take a sample colour off the car. And they scan it and mix you a aerosol up. To dust the door in. That Patina is looking good. But put a mat clear on it. Gloss will make it look cheap. Keep on keeping on. ✌️👍

No doubt that’s a good idea I took a piece off the caddy and had that done for the pink to spray the hood. 🤙

Looks great! I want to see it moving with a 440!
@323Fabrication2 ай бұрын
I appreciate it! I’ll probably keep a small block in the car just for simplicity.

@@323Fabrication I've got to head out there to p/u parts. Doctor Diff is "Your friend" in regards to brakes & axles...just swap to big-bolt, SBP is just a PITA- Cas out there at "Doctor Diff" is good people

Do some electrolysis on the pinion. Easy to do. For a experiment. Only a couple of busted teeth. You could refit to make move under power. Until you find something. 👍

I’d rather spend the time and money towards a 8 3/4. The 7 1/4 will never live the way I drive
@DPaint-v5j2 ай бұрын
@323Fabrication Well better than no drive at the moment. Just some content see if can work again. Forgot to ask how's Dad doing these days. 👍
@323Fabrication2 ай бұрын
He’s doing okay, getting older but hanging in there thanks for asking.

Be a cool Cummins swap!
@323Fabrication2 ай бұрын
It would that. But I’d rather 12 valve the caddy, and we just bought another Cummins swap that will be on the channel soon
