@jessebounds6795 has had this classic Peterbilt 359 sitting in the weeds for 20 years, and it's finally time to get started on the project! The only problem is that there's not much of it left, so I took the @zacklift over and after chaining and strapping a bunch of parts in place, I got it hooked up and it hit the road (kinda) for the first time in over two decades!
Be sure to check out our Patreon project where we use whatever it brings in in a month as our budget to help someone the following month! I was never a fan of the Patreon idea until I realized that I can use it to help others instead of myself, so I created the Patreon Project where we can all combine our efforts to make a real difference in people's lives and make the world a better place! For as little as a dollar a month you can join the group of awesome people already on board and be vote to help steer the ship along the way!

One of the things that I love with Casey's interactions with his friends - they all give each other the same level of trash-talk back and forth, and you can clearly tell there's no malice to it. That's the kinds of friends to have!!

Tristan ties straps the way this old trucker showed me to do it 20 years ago, will hold any strap bigger than 2 inch never flaps appart and puts weight on the strap so if it pops loose it pulls the ratchet down towards the deck and you can see it right away to fix.

Every time I see that tiny little remote, I think about what would happen if I had it. It would wind up somewhere that would guarantee I would forget it. Though, given how paranoid I would be of misplacing it, I would probably be taking a lot of extra steps to make sure it wound up back in the box by the controls. Those remotes are so handy. What a great advancement.

That knot you had trouble with is really intuitive and my favourite way to tie down straps there are some good videos about it. Roll up the strap, bring the end between the roll and the rachet through the centre of your roll, and then around the roll and pull to tighten, to undo reverse those steps. It’s pretty fast and quick, id love to know what else you do. Car doors work well. Cheers 🍻
