Hey house lovers and explorers! This video we kick off where we left off in the previous video exploring the homes and dwellings that fell victim to the Portrush and Magill Rd intersection upgrade. I will take you through the neighboring home to left of the huge bungalow first which is a late 30`s/early 40`s build with classic art deco and dark wood features through out the entire home although at some stage this large home has been altered to become a duplex. The left side becoming a very cosy little unit style and the right side pretty much remaining as a large home. The classic red brick combined with the dark wood and deco themes is distinctive to the the late 30`s early 40`s here in Adelaide.
Also I will walk you through a group of 4 Edwardian clone units that look like mini villas of that period although very modern inside and much less elaborate. But I do wish more blocks of units took this approach and will in the future to at least the facade as they do look nice for units. They have been demolished also and again all the occupants were forced to move on to other place......Hope you enjoy the video Peeps! :-)
