Abandoned Long John Silver's - Granbury, TX. In an area full of places to eat, its not exactly the biggest surprise that LJS closed. The company has struggled for years and locations have closed all around the country. I actually enjoy their food to an extent so its still a bummer to see closed.

My 1st job was Long John and I had to go to that store to pick up some supplies our store was short on. That was almost 30 years ago and the store had a bad odor. I grabbed the stuff as fast as I could and left. I don't think they ever updated. Bad memories of LJS.

Most of the LJS near me is closed the i can only remember 3 out of maybe 10 that is still open, two which have A&W with them. The two nearest to me become a DQ and a Little Caesars

A cool video, Wallie! I honestly can't eat any of the food at Long John Silvers because I'm allergic to seafood. This food allergy is fatal, and I have the highest level of an allergic reaction to any and all seafood. I can eat fresh water fish, though, but not anything from the ocean.

LJS is mostly gone around me. Only a couple remain and they only appear in gas stations and combined with sister brands like kfc.

To be fair, out of all the places you can go, I would actually expect a tattoo shop to be one of the safest with how much sanitization they need to do. There is still one open LJS in my area that looks like that in Northeast PA, and they still even have the captain's bell you ring if they did a good job. Such a classic place.

This reminds me, we have an abandoned Long John Silvers next to an abandoned tobacco shop (former Pizza Inn) and an abandoned Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse, if they are all still standing since I've heard rumors those three properties supposed to be developed.

I will let you know that if you happen to be in Ohio there's this one town call Wilmington and it is always busy on road there is few abandoned places not lot but few there is Putt-Putt is just closed I say it was may be I am going to guess 4 weeks maybe less because it was not long ago that was closed and it very small putt putt place not lot people go by that place and it is up for sale putt putt sign is still up and I don't know why it closed but it did and there is another abandoned place it is call mc sports it is sport store it's in shopping mall area it's next door to Ollie's where Walmart use to be but it move very close to where putt putt place closed and it is in same shopping mall where good will is at where Kroger use to be but it move too mc sports were selling little bit of shoes, shirts, dumb bells, and coats but price were to high on every thing and they were boring money so I am going to guess that's why they closed and I am going to guess it closed up 5 years maybe more and I was in there when they were open too but I don't remember exactly how they closed last I went by that place they were still abandoned there's is other abandoned places that is in Wilmington I think there is even I say 3 houses that are abandoned and i can tell they were abandoned for very long I don't know how long but it has to be very long time and no one has check them yet so you may want to look into that
