I was watching on my TV and had to go on my phone so I could comment. This is one of the coolest houses I've seen for abandoned houses. I wish I could buy it or build one with that layout.

When my mother passed away everything was left in her house there's 5 of us kids. 3 kids wanted to sell it for the money. 2 kids wanted to keep it. so while we sat and fought over what to do. It sat. People starting throwing rocks at our barn windows and broke them out. They started stealing the outdoor furniture. So sometimes homes fall in a legal battle with kids and that's why they sit because there was no will just like my mother's house.

I get it girl. My mom put her home in a trust which stated that I can live here since I took care of her for years up until she left me. If I move, the home is to immediately be sold and split 3 ways between myself and brother and sister. Since her death I am constantly being threatened by my brother to get out. Horrible. I wish I was never put in this position. Sorry to dump all of that. Anyway, all the best to you.
@lusimyer2 жыл бұрын
@@whynot828 Sorry you are going through that... must be horrible. I think the options you have are either to stay there and put up with his behaviour. Offer to buy his share of the house...OR sell the house split it in 3 and then hopefully buy your own place?! Good Luck 😊
@lusimyer2 жыл бұрын
@Angela Monroe...thays another scenario I didn't consider. It's a shame that once the siblings saw what was happening to the house they didn't get to some agreement. Only thing I can suggest is one of the options I mentioned to Die Cast...buy your siblings share of the house if possible???
@momkatmax2 жыл бұрын
Sad to say, that happens. Or if the one who is left died without a will probate is a nightmare. I'm an only child and it took THREE YEARS to settle Mom's estate. Just because of stupid state paperwork. Everyone do a will please.

I feel like people leave a house and all it's possessions when something really bad happens in the home. I can relate. I went through a very rough period and literally couldn't even stand to walk through the door. Sold the house and all contents. Every item just reminded me of something negative. I kept a few choice keepsakes. Started over. I completely get it.

One of the best designed homes I have seen...It has everything anyone could ever want...the dentist had a great private existence? Strange that the estate wasn't sold. Perhaps he had no family to leave his belongings. Wish you didn't focus so much on the junk but rather took slower pans of the rooms and angles and looked fully into the size of the closets.

From the obit I found of the Dental Certificate name on the wall, he died in the Fall of 2019. The property could possibly still be in probate or could be a dispute with the family. That’s probably why he said he went thru it quickly and it was “sketchy”. It may not be lived in currently, but I doubt it is abandoned totally. I can’t help but wonder if law enforcement will eventually use vids like this to prosecute trespassers.
