I cant imagine going in any home and totally disrespecting everything a home & family represent. Unbelievable craftmanship in each of these homes. Impressive stuff.

I hope someone salvaged the beautiful kitchen cabinets, the lamps, the chairs, the vanity, the old school desk that was in the kitchen, old fans and handles and as much as possible in this great house that should have been saved and restored. Such a pity that it was trashed! I'll never understand people who make such a mess: if you're in a house, whoever you are, respect it. Thank you for the great visit!!

I'm just going to put this out there!! I hope "someone" takes those fans, brass bathroom fixtures and anything else that isn't bolted down before it gets demolished. It's so heartbreaking to think this house has stood the test of time for 100 years just to be torn down to make way for those fugly townhouses. Our beautiful history is being lost to greedy developers 😢💔Seeing this makes me more determined than ever to get my 162 year old farmhouse heritage listed. Thank you for another awesome find xx

Thank you Paul. So glad someone is documenting these wonderful old homes. You are always respectful. As you walk around I always imagine the family that once lived and loved there. The possibly returned serviceman who had his shed all organised, mowing the lawns on a Sunday. Hope the ,kitchen and stained glass is at least salvaged. The lady spent many hours baking in there. The kids probably skidded up and down the hallway in socks too.

Good morning Paul,I don't know where to start,I feel like 😭 I wish I could salvage that kitchen, can't be more original than that, the mixture of eras and fixtures is heart breaking, and those retro fans I wish someone saves those things ,I don't know what I do if I was in that house , another thing I can't understand is how people can leave photos behind ,and even if you rent why can't you be clean that smoke stained everything ,So sad that that lovely home is going to be demolished , Paul this house really touched my ♥️.I wish you a good rest of the day and have a great and happy Christmas 🌲 n most of all stay safe , thank you Paul big 🤗 from a Frenchy in Australia 🇫🇷🇦🇺💝🎄🕊️🎄

@@urbexindigo5164 For me, the garage was the saddest part: those shelves with coffee jars full of screws and nails, the paint tins lined up, all facing front, so neatly labelled. Someone left that house very suddenly. So sad.

Such an interesting explore thanks Paul of an original post WW1 home built for war veterans, with the emergence of the Bungalow style. Looks are deceiving from the outside of the house, where internally it appears more spacious with high ceilings and decorated with fancy ceiling roses and cornices and with an elaborate fireplace in the lounge room. What a great find to capture the authentic Art Deco kitchen cupboards with patterned glass. It seems as if the previous owners were satisfied to live with very few upgrades to the house. Enjoy viewing this home and it did feel like you were stepping back in time.

All the rooms have smoke stains. There was a big difference in the girls room with the color blue. There are a few items there that need to be saved by any means and the dresser with the mirror final bedroom. Ooohhhh the fire place mantel. Looks like squatters were there at one time. I would even try to save the side light (stained glass) by the front door. Great video, great old home.

Definitely the original kitchen, those cupboards would be superb to clean up & reuse. You can tell it’s the original stainless steel sink by it’s colour and the high fold up splash back. Those old fans are great as often the Low Speed is silent, making sleeping with them on very easy, I love them. Nice sized garage, probably once housed a Mitsubishi judging by the parts left behind. I recon it’s a deceased estate of a male that someone’s tossed looking for valuables.

Interesting place keep up the good work and finding the place , the preserve in the jar in the kitchen I’m fairly sure they were apricot halves as my grandmother used to do the preserves like that and that hat on the hat stand if that was a vintage akubra which were made in Australia it could be worth a bit of money.

Love the stainless steel sink and the old green cabinet it's housed in. The little niche beside the front door. The floors. They are incredible. The fireplace..I love. I'd love to get my paints and brushes out, and draw "trees wherever any cracks are in the walls. I bet that place reeked of cigarettes tho. Ughhh.

I watch alot of abandoned mansion/home videos. Yours is the only one where the toilet is separate from the tub. Here in the US it is all in the same room or there might be a door between them, but still same room. Just an observation. I enjoyed this video, the stuff left behind always makes it more interesting. Thanks.

Signs of chronic smoking but they were worried about fire - I counted three extinguishers and two fire blankets. Would have liked to have seen Street View images of that plants progress up the wall and roof of that house.

It's odd to see how things are done in other countries. The neighborhoods and homes where you explore are all so similar, one-story , center halls, with small, fenced yards. Toilets outside the back door, etc. Odd. It's also interesting that it's easy to tell if the last occupants were clean people or not, even amid the decay. Pretty cool. Thank you! (P.s...what do you look like?! LOL.)

You would have a heck of a time frying to find a place to rent here if you were a smoker. They pretty much don't exist. It is also against the law to smoke in your home if you have children. I would never, not even on my worst day, consider putting my baby in crib out by the back door on it's own. Especially when the the exterior door has glass panels. What were they thinking. It would take an enormous amount of elbow grease but you could get those kitchen cabinets looking beautiful again and get a pretty good price for them at auction. That old dresser with the round mirror was nice too. Thanks for sharing. :)

That was decades of smoke to stain it like that. We had a renter that was a chain smoker, took 2 coats of primer and one coat of paint to cover her 20 years of smoking. You could see where her favorite chair was by the stains up the walls to the ceiling where she would sit and watch TV. I hoe the fans and the dresser are salavaged and some of the light fixtures.
