Steve, I've been a silent viewer. I watch but don't really comment. However, I just wanted to say that as much as I love your videos with a little extra spice, like the roundabout, I also love these types of videos that are just nice and lowkey. I'd be willing to guess that many other people in this community agree with that sentiment as well. Just do you and we'll be along for the camping ride. This was a relaxing one but I loved it, thank you for the video and thank you for just being you!

This is a very serendipitous stealth camping episode, in light of the passing of Gordon Lightfoot, who wrote and performed the Canadian Railroad Trilogy, one of his greatest hits. A stealth tribute to Gordon. 🥰 "So they looked to the future and what did they see? They saw iron road camping by a nice guy called Steve. Bringing good humor to a bunch of his fans Who can't wait to go camping across this great land."

Steve, we aren't watching the videos for suspenseful, stealth-camping action. Sure, that's how a lot us found you, it's just how the algorithm works, but it's not why we stay. We stay because of YOU. Your personality, honesty, and just plain wholesomeness is rare, especially on KZbin. You are lightning in a bottle. You make us feel like a family, like we're there with you. It's something that you can't create an algorithm to filter for on KZbin. Just keep doing what you love, and the rest of us will be along for the ride.

You might try a blue lens light. Like red, blue light is a "stealthier" color and saves your night vision, and you would likely be able to see it better if you have red/green colorblindness. I don't know how it looks on camera though. Anyway thanks for another entertaining episode of Camping with Steve!

Gotta say, since discovering Steve’s channels forever ago, it’s always a pleasure when he uploads. The soft tones of his videos regardless of it’s a stealther or something in a campground is always a great way to unwind with a step two. Love what you do, Steve. Don’t change a thing!

What a great spot, Steve. When I was a kid traveling with my parents, I used to always look out the car window and up into the woods. I would day dream about what it would be like to make forts and hide out. This was totally right up my alley.

It’s almost amusing about the amount of “paranoia” for stealth - is that a necessary worry? but I enjoy the experience and Steve’s wonderful voice, so it doesn’t matter to me where he camps, I just enjoy it.

I lived in a tent in Southern Oregon from 6/2015 to 1/2018. Me and my husband but he passed on 1/9/2018. And 17 days later I was in Portland, and by February 1st started a job. Now 5 years later, I am back in Oklahoma, live in same town as my mom, daughter and 2 grandbabies. I'm grateful for that experience. Lived in 4 seasons. Woke up to feet of snow 2 x in that time frame. Thanks for your video.

I found your channel a few days ago with the roundabout stealth camp and I have to say it feels like I'm a child again. You do what our inner adventurous infant always wanted. "What if I hide there; no one will find me! Ha". It feels like I'm with a friend or my dad camping and I'm looking at everything with wide-open eyes. Its so much fun, thank you. I hope you feel better soon and wish you all the best!

Former chef here, that pan wasn't hot enough in the spot where you put the chicken that the coating fell off of, and was too hot on the side that burnt the chicken. Just try to elevate the pan a bit next time so it can heat evenly :) (Side note, cook for a decade before I went to school to be a chef, not one anymore, but my chef's finals were of course cooking. I brought in my cast irons, everyone made fun of me. By the end of the competition professor chef said it was a good idea and the entire class was asking me where to get them. I had no clue, ours were handed down - who knows how old they are. Get a light weight cast iron skillet, you can more easily avoid this problem.)

Steve, joining you each week for camping in unusual places is the main thing. Stealthers with a bit of tension are great but the relaxed ones are wonderful in a different way and I greatly enjoy both. Planning one and ending up with the other doesn't diminish how watchable the video is. Keep it up.

The fact that you are getting out there and doing this stealth camping under the circumstances is admirable. Many of us in 'same boat' understand what you are going through personally. Your videos are never boring, don't worry about that! They don't always have to be stealth, which I luv, a combination with seeing all the interesting sites along the way is great too!

The most true statement I’ve ever heard in my life “They call it a spork but it doesn’t do either very well.” Just to add, also a good lesson on why you should perfect 1 thing at a time or else you’ll just be average at both.

Awesome to see you Steve! Keep at it. I'm homeless, and I sleep by the tracks very often. It's a good place to camp. The jurisdiction can confuse cops into leaving you alone considering the railway has there own police. And hearing trains can be soothing at night.
