10 months late for a comment but here I go ,to me the internal wall linings looked to be asbestos the timber slats a give away, what I like about these old houses is the paint job on them ,been abandoned for years and the gloss on the timber work is still glossy, the good old days of lead based paints, love the history and your videos

Your Farmhouse Finds’ are always my favorite explores! Love the key still in the bath door, and always love the old oven/stoves! This is really unique indeed with the front entrance windows, stained glass is so beautiful! I would love that on my house! I think the piece of farm equipment is an old garden tiller. My neighbor had one very similar to this one. Thanks for another interesting find Indigo!

It’s a beauty Paul!! I love the unique facade and such a sweet home! That definitely looks like a front entry and so beautiful! Imagine it as a sunroom/parlour with beautiful plants, coat rack etc Can go into lounge or side to the bedroom, or the small room to the left leading to the kitchen. I’d love to restore this! Beautiful oven and the old vintage tub and laundry trough.

Been really enjoying these videos but can't help to also be left feeling a little sad. Anyway love all the old 30's Electrical hardware in this one. My house still has all its 30's switches and power points mounted on wooden blocks. Actually still had cotton insulated wire up until a few months ago, had perished so much my lights started to flicker. So had to get it re-wired but kept all the original hardware. All the wooden blocks for the switches had been painted so stripped them back and re-stained them in walnut. (Which is what there were originally stained.) Looks great now and you cannot tell its been re-wired. instagram.com/p/Cl5s6WWP4kK/

Love the classic old stove (my hubby's mum had one of those she never upgraded it was an old 'kookburra' brand - when everyone else had a modern one back in his day she kept cooking with the old one) & my grandparents had those old concrete tubs. A really cold and snowy morning in Colorado, US, and your humor is showing- "a roadside finding- I had to climb 2 fences and go through all this tall grass, but here we are"- I love you- and you know I love these farmhouses- thank you for something warm and nostalgic today-SDK OH- still waiting for the book series. That entrance- with the double doors, and the huge window bank, is the kind all of the wealthy people here build up on the side of the mountains- stupid, because it is hard to heat, hard to keep cool, and hard to clean. Nice for light and views, though.

Yer that was a rotary hoa the blades would of been at the front so when you push this machine through a field it churns up the ground ready for seeding. Definately loved the front facade with those cool stained glass windows its almost church style. Kitchen was unique and original and loved the IXL wood oven classic this one. Those gorgeous stained glass windows shouldn't be left there, it's a miracle they haven't been broken. One thing i've noticed in many of the homes is just a board ceiling, no insulation, just to see the metal roofing. Even with one or two fireplaces, and high ceilings, the homes would be cold in winter. What is the average temps, espec in winter over there by you? Enjoyed this find, thanks!

Amazing how architecture creates a picture of the past. It almost allows a visit back across the years to life as it was . I would speculate the Villers engine powered a garden rotary cultivator, a common general purpose engine from the past. also used in motorcycles. Almost a commercial style to the structure, approximately 100 years ago. Cheers
