You know how there are songs sometimes that have something magic to them and you can't really tell why? This is one of those for me. Listened one time and was instantly hooked. Lovely! Chords and lyrics below and on Ultimate Guitar as always folks. Have a lovely day! Standard tuning, no Capo. If you want to play along to the studio version, put Capo on 3 Intro C F G C Chorus C F / G C / C F / G C Verses C F / G C / C F / G C Interludes C F G C (x2 in 2nd Interlude) [Intro] [Chorus] I ain't got no boy but I got my tall boy I don't need no small man when I got my tall can You may think I'm living a low life with my High Life But I tell you boy, I'm doin alright [Verse 1] My daddy didn't teach me much before we lost him to Captain Crunch He drowned after 17 or 20 beers That wasn't clear, I mean in the milk, he passed out at 9 AM And every man I've met sinced then is even dumber than him [Chorus] I ain't got no boy but I got my tall boy I don't need no small man when I got my tall can You may think I'm living a low life with my High Life But I tell you boy, I'm doin just fine [Interlude] [Verse 2] Fella found me by myself at the bar in my favourite seat Said he wants to fuck me from behind while I'm asleep Not the best opening line, I guess he thinks he's being flirty I ain't got time to talk dirty, it's beer thirty [Chorus] I ain't got no boy but I got my tall boy I don't need no small man when I got my tall can You may think I'm living a low life with my High Life But I tell you boy, I'm doin alright [Interlude] [Chorus] I ain't got no boy but I got my tall boy I don't need no small man when I got my tall can You may think I'm living a low life with my High Life But I tell you boy, I'm doin alright Cause I ain't got no boy but I got my tall boy I don't need no small man when I got my tall can You may think I'm living a low life with my High Life But I tell you boy, I'm doin alright I tell you boy, I'm doin alright
