I brought my car to a shop in Belleview Florida for misfires. The shop said it was the coils and plugs. $900+ later and I drove out with the same problem I went in with. They then told me it was the computer, then they told me it was the engine, then they told me they didn't know what was wrong!! I watched some Scanner Danner videos and purchased a decent scanner and fuel pressure gauge. I found out my car had low fuel pressure. I had my neighbor replace the fuel pump for me and now my car runs great. The shop I took my car to had great reviews. They advertised they have the latest in diagnostic equipment and training!! Never trust the small shop , if u have a problem to ur car bring it to the dealer 100% guaranteed they will fix it no problem!

The Ford edge wonder if it even needed a new engine looks like a new-ish car. Hope she gets her money back

Yep. That car is no where near old enough for engine replacement. If one needs a new engine, one should not even bother and get another car.

@@AnotherCG some shops won't charge you too much labor for an engine, personally I'd just buy a used one with lower miles. A ford 3.7 V6 or 2.0l ecoboost should be pretty cheap it came in a plethora of models

Word of advice for anybody that does business with other people like this do not use zelle to do transactions because there's nothing that the banks could do for you. Always do a check and or use your credit card in case any fraud happens you can contest it and dispute the case

The “single mother” card is what gets me. 🤣 wtf is that going to do? 💀

They need to be charged and refund the customers they ripped off. Also lose their owner's business license. Never pay until the job is done.

I don't know what fraud unit would have to doby looking into it?? It couldn't be any clearer that she got taken. The sad part is. She's probably gonna have to wait 6 to 8 months to have some kind of judgment. And that's all she'll get is a judgment, no money...

I guess it depends on where you go bc i have NEVER had to pay for repairs or parts upfront... That i remember I try to look up multiple*** shops (if im out of town or new to an area...) and look at the google reviews..how long they've been in business.. not just the price.. It happens to us all tho 🙃

Always do your car repair from the dealership or another car repair contracted with the brand/ dealership . Never go to some back alley auto repair shop . 9/10 they either won’t do it right the first time or they will charge you more than the dealership when everything is said than done .
