I'd love to hear your thoughts on the video in the comments below! Apart from that, I'd also like to know: 1. Have you created music using the Probability Pack? I wanna hear it! 2. Would you like to see more pack exploration video like this? 3. Any suggestions for what you'd like to see in a future video?

Dude what your doing with the push is so fucking dope! I get mine in a couple days and I'm switching over from reason. Honestly you're inspirational the only thing I hate is that you leave the plastic on your push haha i cant stop staring at it but thanks for the upload dude
@TavishMusicOfficial5 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks so much man! Glad you enjoyed the video! The plastic finally peeled off so it won't be there in future vids. 😂😂 All the best with the switch over to Ableton! I switched to Ableton from FL Studio and there was no turning back. Happy to help if you have any questions! Cheers!

Keep in mind you with the latest versions of Reason you can use instruments (KONG, Subtractor, Thor, Malestrom, et al.) as well as effects as VST3 plugins in Live. Unbeatable combo!

Increible! No puedo dejar de ver el video, la programación del sequencer de probability es excelente. Eres muy bueno, un artista. Una pregunta: ¿como haces para que el secuenciador "Patern" de "probability" haga pausas? Automatización "ON/OFF"?

I'd love to see how you setup that bass drum rack to work with the Step Divider device like that. Seems like there's a lot of creative potential here for percussive sounds as well.

Tavish Music Official At around 1:57 when you brought in the Step Divider, was it just all Samples or did you use a couple of synths too?
@TavishMusicOfficial6 жыл бұрын
@@TJ-vv3ex It's a mix of samples and synths. I was fooling around with loading a bunch of basses straight from the basses folder into the drum rack using the Push - irrespective of whether it was a sample or synth. I just wanted to see what would happen if I did that and after a bit of tweaking I was quite happy with the result! Hope that answers your question! :)

Tavish Music Official Absolutely, it’s given me an idea to use this technique on one of my own tracks, so thanks :)

How you record it? Recorder? What was your routing? Good work btw :)
@TavishMusicOfficial4 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, it was just recorded straight into the session view. For some of my other videos like Arp You Crazy, I used a channel record device on the master channel. Glad you liked the video! :)
@Rico26804 жыл бұрын
Tavish Music Official thank you for your response! There was no red light blinking on push record button all the time, that why am asking, cuz its probably not a direct record into session view. Anyway, thnx and good luck! 🎶
@TavishMusicOfficial4 жыл бұрын
@@Rico2680 well spotted! Yeah then I used the channel record device on this one as well. I found you can't play notes over a recorded clip while recording into session view. Having a channel record enabled me to do that so I use that sometimes depending on how the track is structured.
@Rico26804 жыл бұрын
Exactly! One more stupid question: what do you mean by channel record device and how you can do it in ableton?
@TavishMusicOfficial4 жыл бұрын
@@Rico2680 It's a M4L device that I just put onto the master channel. It outputs a single WAV file of whatever is going through the master. Only down side is, you have to set everything up perfectly because you can't mix it later. It's a single WAV file. Here's a link to the device: maxforlive.com/library/index.php?by=any&q=channel+record

It's the Step Divider device from the Ableton Probability Pack. I think that's the one you're asking about.
