Cheers mate! This was one of my earlier videos. I think I recorded this, the day I got the Push 2. Check out some of the later ones if you're interested and let me know what you think!

I was coming to this video looking for answers, and I got them immediately! The Push can be played as an instrument, and seems to be able to do live performances quite well, great job - I think I need one now.

Hey! So glad you found the video helpful. Yeah the Push 2 does a brilliant job of integrating into Ableton whether youre looking for a controller to trigger stuff or a MIDI instrument. I have a couple more videos on my channel you could take a look at and Im happy to help if you have any questions. Cheers!

@@TavishMusicOfficial Cheers mate! I've been an Ableton user for quite some years now, and the closest I got to being able to perform live with it was on the good old APC40. Would love to be able to not bring anything else but my MacBook, and a Push - being (in theory) technically capable to do a live show for people. You think that's possible?
@TavishMusicOfficial3 жыл бұрын
@@clarkflavor yeah definitely! Comes down to how you prepare the set. Check out my videos "arp you crazy" and "lost in isolation"... They might be along the lines of what you're looking for

love this song :) what's the chance of a project file or at the very least what instruments was used cheers
@TavishMusicOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Hey Terry! Glad you liked the song! I don't have the project file but I used a lot of UHe's Diva plugin on this. Almost all the synth sounds are Diva and random samples for the percussion.

Tavish Music Official hey did I use deva presets is so what one as as I can’t find any similar?
@TavishMusicOfficial4 жыл бұрын
@Terry Suthern Presets are a good starting point but you need to tweak them quite a bit. You need to be able to identify a sound close to what you want, and know what you need to tweak to get it to the point where you're happy. Look up tutorials on how synths work and start fiddling with all the knobs and dials to shape the sound you're looking for.

WHERE ARE U GETTING THESE GOOD SOUNDS FROM....???

Haha! I can't remember now for sure but I think a lot of it was U-He's Diva. It's an absolutely incredible sounding virtual synth.

Nice performance, the only thing more enjoyable would be a video where you peel of this foil...
@TavishMusicOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha! It's gone now. Unfortunately there's no video of it being peeled off but the later videos don't have the foil 😂

it realy bugs me when people leave the plastic on screens like that, its to keep it clean as its being manufactured, you ere expected to take it off by the manufacturer, why would you stupidly put up with it being on, its as if your trying to impress the secondhand shop who will just think your an idiot
@TavishMusicOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Haha! This was literally the first video I ever made with the Push. It was out of the box for 30mins at this point. You can sleep peacefully knowing the troublesome screen guard was removed eventually! 😄😄
@Dennistube0013 жыл бұрын
@@TavishMusicOfficial brilliant, sorry for stating it but people leave these on for years and years and years and can no longer see the screen properly, you have to have a certain character to do that, its similar to people that are absolutely scared of opening a book properly to read it, theve paid for it but dare not own it
