Deleting the ABS from my Land Rover Discovery 2 to make room for the 4BT engine swap & in preparation for big brakes! I need the space on that driver's side fender for parts of the 4BT swap, as well as the complete rewire job on the project. It was something I had intended to save for later when I upgrade to a hydroboost master cylinder + 6-pot front & 4-pot rear brake calipers from a Range Rover sport. Big tires need big brakes! If you're looking to do this I would recommend NOT unless you're building an offroad vehicle. Here's some info on the fittings & adapters: Master Cylinder ports are M12x1.0 bubble flare, Hose Junctions & Calipers are M10x1.0 bubble flare.
~ PART#36 in a project dubbed "Nanuuq" to swap out my lifted Land Rover Discovery 2's blown 4.0L V8 & boring ZF auto for a Cummins 4BT 3.9L turbo (Holset Super HX30W) diesel 4-cylinder engine (Bosch P7100 pump) with an NV4500 5-speed manual transmission. The AWD 4x4 will remain with the LT230 transfer case divorced behind it all, & plenty of Dodge 6BT parts too. Another big phase of my custom DIY build to create a do-just-about-anything off-road / overland rig. Did I mention it's a camper too?
