Hey man a couple questions I hope you can help me with. First off, since these are s35 lenses that means that the field of view is actually true to the lens focal length correct? so the 18mm for example will actually be as wide as an 18 on a FF? And my second question is do you know how similar these are to the FF versions? I am trying to decide between these or the DZOfilm primes. There are tons of videos of the FF Meikes vs the DZO primes but I can't find any direct comparisons between the DZOfilm primes and these s35 Meike primes. If these s35 primes perform basically the same as the FF versions then I can actually rely on all those comparison videos.

The whole Meike S35 range is pretty great. I also own the 35mm and I use it with my BMPCC 6k Pro, I couldn't be happier with it.

Thank you for this review. Too few people are talking about these lenses, especially the S35 line. They are gorgeous, well-built, and priced unbelievably fairly. Looking forward to the 25 and 18, as the longer focal lengths have much more limited use cases on S35 sensors, in my opinion.

Do these come with the ability to switch out between EF and PL mounts like the DZOFilm primes? Or do you have to purchase as one or the other without the ability to switch back and fourth with different bayonets?

From February 2022 - there are still only 35mm and 50mm available, with 75mm listed as "preorder" on Meike site. Do you know if the project has been abandoned or are there any new release dates for the rest of the set?

Am I right, with regard to crop factor, this lens is made especially for s35 sensors, the lens is 35mm and would deliver the "same" image as a 50mm-ish full frame?

Yep that is correct (depending on the sensor you use it on) But if the crop factor on your camera is 1.5x then it would be a 52.5mm full frame equivalent.
