That 2 pack is pretty decent for those that have never played Remake. I'm a fan so nostalgia played a major role why I enjoyed Remake. I even did all the sidequests in the Midgar slums.

I know Remake is "only" $40 now, but I really wish they would have put it on a deeper sale this week. The $70 was a hard no for me, $40 makes it seem better, but I still don't want to pay that for this game.

40 dollars for this good of a port. It's more than just a remake. It's fully super long rpg. You are just cheap. Just admit it. To compare this game to the original game isn't even the same discussion.

@@raven80wolfx2 I am super cheap when it comes to games. It has to be incredibly good, or something I was really looking forward to, for me to spend $40+ on a game anymore. I also haven't played a FF game since 10. I'll either wait for a sale, or at this point just wait until they actually finish the story and buy them all at once.

​Take your time and first play both FF7 Crisis Core Reunion and FF7 Remake first, since FF7 Rebirth is just part 2 of a game that's split into 3 games (they made some changes from the original FF7's story in the Remakes) In fact, they just finished finalizing the script for Part 3, so you don't really need rush it as we won't be seeing how this game series story ends for quite some time.

That wouldn't make sense. It would discourage new players from playing rebirth, because it would emphasize the nature of the game as a sequel and make it seem like you have to play Remake to play Rebirth. Besides, the name is part of the story - it summarizes what this part of the plot is all about. You wouldn't read a book if the title read "[something something] part 2" now, would you?
