Can't wait to see you react to him performing "Unforgettable Day" at Gakku 2017. It's insane. 🤯Just a little info about this performance. Dimash was a contestant on this Chinese singing show called The Singer. This was one of his performances on this show. "Opera 2" is a song originally written and sung by Vitas. There is another version of this performance with the English captions and showing when Dimash was done and was saying "thank you" that he looked over and suddenly saw his dad. Dimash did not know his dad was going to be there. It was such a beautiful moment. So glad you watched and enjoyed this. 😎👍(BTW the competition he quit was called The World's Best. It was an American show that deceived Dimash by telling him that he would not compete against kids. They lied, he was competing against children so he left. Dimash believes in encouraging kids to believe in their dreams and love music and not give up. He thought it was wrong to have kids compete against adults who've had more time to train in their career.)

@4:09, AB, this was a Singer competition he was in, in China 2017... This isn't the one that he walked away from. But doing this competition/show is how he really got noticed! This song is originally by a Russian singer named Vitas. TBH, you should do the performances from this show and then go forward to now, because he was so young and he just gets better and better!! He sings in 12 languages and is almost fluent in about 5 now with learning English! He plays a plethora of instruments and now has a 8 octive range!! I've been following him since he was on this show and he is just incredible, he is The Best vocalist ever! And also an incredible performer! And no matter how famous, etc he gets, he keeps his humbleness and his heart and soul... he's everything people wish they were! Ps Vitas forbid him from ever singing this or any of his other stuff and pretty much did like Lionel Richie after Dimash did "Hello", Richie tried to sue him and lost but he also got away with forbidding him from ever doing it again as well! BTW, the man in the audience was his father, who paid a surprise visit to China to see Dimash in this competition (where he also performed SOS and Adagio, etc). If you let the video continue he is overcome to see his father and asks him "Did I do well?" As if! // My understanding is that this competition has one wildcard place for a non-Chinese performer and that's how Dimash was accepted and became a star overnight after SOS, his first song of the competition. But he finished 2nd overall - politics, you know - China has to win.

Daneliya Tuleshova has been friends with Dimash since she won The Voice Kids Ukraine in 2017 at the age of 10. She's now fifteen and one of the best young singers on the planet, appearing on The World's Best and America's Got Talent. She has originals and does covers and I never know what to suggest. Her audition for The Voice Kids Ukraine has over 72 million views, but I'm going to suggest her cover of Faouzia's Tears of Gold. She did a version for her successful audition on AGT, but being the artist she is, she wasn't totally satisfied with it and later did this cover of it which not only showcases her voice but her instinctive performing ability. It is a competition for established Chinese singers and Dimash was invited as a wildcard entry and literally became famous overnight after his first song SOS. He quit The World’s Best show based in the US because he found out he would be competing against children despite being told otherwise. You should watch All By Myself from The Singer (AVOID all World’s Best vids- that’s the show he quit). You’ll recognize this song by Eric Carmen, made even more famous by Celine Dion. He didn’t know English though really, just learned the songs & his “dinglish” is pronounced at times lol but you must see.
