So much misunderstanding and hate, but that seems par for the course. When a person has grown up in a strict environment that discourages anything other than heterosexual relationships, and grows up learning to work hard to please others, it is very difficult to come out. I think she is still learning who she is, and is likely confused by all the various labels and sub-labels; even people who have come out early in life have some confusion because LGBTQ issues are so heavily politicized, and people within the community have been jerks to each other. Additionally, coming out as bisexual adds a further complication, even within the LGBTQ community, because there is a lot of drama and polarizing viewpoints about how bisexuality is "supposed to be" defined, and bisexuality, unfortunately, bears a huge burden when it comes to misconceptions and dismissal. Most people are ignorant of sexual identity in general, so I understand why she is still uncertain about how to come out, and given so many of the comments here, I also understand her anxiety.

Clearly people don't realize how soul crushing being gay or bi in the Mormon church really is. Their family completely excommunicates them & or both send them to one of those horrible training camps where they try to pray the gay away. And are basically tortured for being gay, it's not an easy thing to do in that religion.
