**ACCIDENTALLY** FASTEST MEGANE MK4 100-200's ON DRAGY! - IS "STAGE 2" EVEN WORTH IT!?

In this weeks video we've been out in the megane messing about with dragy once again, this time to show you guys the difference in performance between "STAGE 1" and "STAGE 2" as its probably THE most asked question i get...
Running a respectable 12.82 on the previous mods we set out to beat that and try and become the fastest MK4 Megane 100-200 on dragy! We assumed a gain in times, but by how much? Will the Trophy take the TROPHY!!?

Love your MK4 😍 Got myself one in yellow (still stock, mods are coming tho). If does 100-200 on Wintertires (19“) in 13.0 sec. I guess on summertires it will be slightly quicker (12.9? ☺️) because my wheels are 2kg lighter on every corner and summer tires loose less force :) Unfortunately I saw your 18“ to late, my 19“ where already delivered and sitting in the garage. Your 18“ setup is just racecar 😍 Greeting from Zürich 🇨🇭

@@VersionOneUK Yes, 13.1 so be precise in 432m ☺️ Don‘t know if the car just pulls very well, but it‘s honestly stock. Always get‘s the 100 octane from Shell or 102 when in Germany. 80 - 120 km/h is done 3sec. I don‘t use an external antenna, so the times might be slightly off, but I would say that‘s max .5 sec of a lag / delay / whatever ;)

Knowing what I know about how it feels, I can say that the way it pulls throughout is a big difference. The power delivery is much better throughout the whole range. A second less 100-200 is a very good difference too!

1 second is a BIG improvement mate... Especially on a roll. All the tuners were surprised it made even half a second!!

A bit crazy when you think about a stock vw golf gti clubsport on winter tyres doing the 100 to 200 in 11.5 sec almost the same power as our Megane RS Trophy but with a little less weight

Fully stripped like a clubsport this would do a much faster time, however you also have to remember that the trophy does 2 secs a lap faster round Anglesey with full interior. Again not to flex numbers just to show the differences in tuning stages

@@sport300-uk4 Ash, and Sport300-uk4, guys... Of course if you ask me to choose between the Megane RS and the Golf GTI CS, I will choose the Megane RS a thousand time. I have a liquid yellow RS Trophy (2021) and I am waiting for a 2023 Megane RS Trophy in Arctic White (QNC paint code), I bought almost all the parts, red Fuji wheels, Michelin PS4S tires, red stickers, exhaust etc in order to "build" a pseudo Trophy-R myself. The car will be there normally in the next few weeks and I'm really excited. I was just surprised to see the Golf GTI CS doing a 100-200 in just 11.5 seconds in straight line, while a real Trophy-R from the factory is doing the same in 12.7 seconds. But okay I agreed with you guys, when in the corners, I am pretty sure the Golf GTI CS will be far away on your back and look like a small dot in your rear view mirror ! 🙂

On the draggy app mate. If you toggle to Renault leaderboards you'll be able to see the 100-200's there. I've been bumped a few now so I've gotta get back out there now the cars running 👌

I tested my GT few days ago and I got 21s 100 to 200. But it's 3.5s better than stock 😊​@@VersionOneUK

The thing is, people will underestimate the numbers, but if you had the cars, side by side, standard vs moded, it'd be an embarrassment.
