Been planning to film the homie's K20/K24 FG2 for awhile and we finally got it done! This is one of my favorite Civic builds because most people either build their K20 or swap a K24 so this has the best of both worlds. You’re correct. Doesn’t matter what the make of the car is, it’s important to warm up the engine and the transmission. You might pick up as much as 30-40 hp switching to E 85.

I drive for 5-10mins or prefer a highway cruise before I race or get into hard shifting. Warm your fluids up, get your steel/aluminum nice and hot, it was designed for heat and pressure.

Great video as always, and you did a lot better then I thought tbh when I heard 280whp.🤙 I've raced a 240whp k20/24, and he pulled a cpl cars on the low end (2nd gear), but I came back around 110-120mph for the W. Point is, Jseries still got the better top end imo, can't wait to see the rematch!🔥

Nice build but that engine should be making over 300whp. I've seen stock block k24/k20s make 270whp with cams. He should retune it with someone a little more experienced with the platform. Regardless that's a fast 8th gen

I think that's great number. Don't for get a stock K only puts down 170whp, so he's well over 100hp over stock. And like 65lbs torque over stock. It's a fast car.

WHP is low for this setup, there is similar setup with stock K24 block and 4 Piston head with DC 3.2 pushing 309 WHP.
