Bon at least gives the appearance he'd have naked chicks in cages on stage if he could. Even if the band doesn't last, I'm betting Ellie Rowsell will.

When Phil's drums kick in at the beginning, you could feel the power start to build. Its amazing how you can take 5 people, put them together, and its epic. Mal, Cliff, and Phil, played so tight it was like they were one. Angus, incredible guitar player, and a snappy dresser, and Bon, sounded like he was in the middle of an orgasm when he sang, which is always a good thing. AC/DC destroyed the mold of what rock and roll bands should be, and that's why they've been around for over 40yrs. The music of AC/DC will never die. Malcolms passing is like losing an old friend. I was born 1965 and grew up with AC/DC through the Early 70's - the present day. BACK IN BLACK was one of their best albums ever produced. But Bon Scott was thee original singer that made AC/DC What they are today. Brian Johnson is the best replica of his voice. They struck GOLD with him. LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL. BTW I'm 57yrs old you younger generation have no FN clue about ROCK N ROLL music. Long live the 80's

I prefer Brian's voice personally. It's Back in Black who made the group famous. But i really prefer the music style during Bon era. They had some very nice 'Blues' songs like 'Ride on', or 'she's got the jack'. Those albums where a mix of Rock and Blues that u don't find anymore in Higway to Hell even if it was with Bon.
@michaelcoolidge14238 жыл бұрын
+sagw adloup back in black was mostly written by Bon. he was a prolific writer , and died with a notebook full of completed lyrics. people saw lyrics for shook me in it. regardless what band says. they wanted to start fresh so gave Brian lyric credits and not Bon but the reason it was successful was because Bon brought them to the brink with Highway then handed them a goldmine of lyrics. which Imo they used through Ftatr. because if Brian wrote that album , what happened? he just lose his writing ability? no it was Bons words. you can tell the way he wrote. he was London finishing the lyrics For follow up to Highway. listen to Brian do any of Bons tracks. he cant. he wrecked them. that's why they only did a handful in concert. like go down. find Brians. doesn't compare. Bon was just a pure Frontman. 70s ACCA is the best. Powerage album is as good as it gets.

shocked no one has mentioned angus’ solo but me! this is his sickest solo!!! this is the solo where he truly sounds like an unstable maniac. so many cool little parts and riffs…the first bend has insane HUGE vibrato, just before the break down when he goes into the lower register the note are on the edge of shrieking into harmonics….at the end when it goes into climax it sounds like he fall apart and just shreds into nonsense….it’s beautiful!!

Been playing guitar in bands for over 40 years, but haven't done much AC/DC due to lack of convincing vocalist.
