Thanks for all the content you provide us Imafuji Sensei. I was in the bad habit of doing small Men in the way where you lose power. After having watched several of your videos on performing the small Men-uchi I now know what I must do to eliminate the bad habit I have grown. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this video sensei. I was trying to teach our new beginners small strikes and I found it way more difficult than teaching them big strikes. Couldn't think of a good way to break them down into simpler parts. I'll give this practice a try with our members next time.

Amazing!! The concept is a little bit similar to shotokan's kizami zuki! 👍

Thanks for your comment, Irvin Jay Carranza! After all, most of the martial arts share the similar concepts, I think 😄

Imafuji-sensei, you make it seem so easy, but when I try to follow your steps, I mess up. Your movements seem so fluid and confident as well! I noticed that your left hand goes a little upwards, when you twist the shinai in the beginning and then your strike is on the same place but very swift and on point. Mine is...well...like trying to apply butter to the opponent's shinai, I guess :|

Opps! Sorry. This video is supposed to help you with small men strike. It's about timing and we call it "Ki Ken Tai Icchi". Do it slowly until you get the timing right. Take your time :)
