Yes it is worth it to make your own sourdough - I started about two months ago and it wasn’t always easy but now that I’ve got the hang of it it’s really worth it! Delicious and fun and not that much work anymore. Joshua Weismann’s videos were very helpful for me!
@taliaferreira56323 жыл бұрын
Also it didn’t take me two months to get to this point - that’s when I first began my starter. Starter took about two weeks to figure out, first loaf was a dud, my second was meh, and my third onwards was quite good! That was probably three weeks or less. It took more than that to get to a loaf I’m super happy with but everything from batch 3 onwards has been very pleasant to eat. If you can get starter from a friend or a local bakery the process will be even easier.

I'm not sure whether someone answered your question, but the white-bagged matcha looks like it is a lower quality matcha than the green-bagged one just from the color of the powders! Veganism and oysters... I don't really care about if it has a nervous system or eyes or any other thing that makes it "less" of an animal... it's still an animal and I really don't see any reason to eat it. I'm not going to judge anyone who eats them, just like I don't judge non-vegans, and it's obviously better for someone to be mostly plant-based and eat oysters than just not make any effort at all. The logic behind it sounds similar to people who say they're vegan but eat chicken or fish for whatever reason (which is fine, but it's certainly not vegan)

@ladiebug3953 жыл бұрын
Steel cut oats tips for everyone in the comments who regrets buying them: make it with water on the stove. Something about the milk makes the texture more gelatinous and weird yet still crunchy. Water makes a more traditional oatmeal texture by better hydrating the oats. And it does take time on the stove; microwaves are faster but also lead to poor texture. Steel cut oats are definitely not a quick morning breakfast.
@RubellaLugosi3 жыл бұрын
