A character defined entirely by gender; ironically the one he doesn’t have. The name is “Sister”, the armor is trans flag (…from Earth), and Anakin called her “transcended gender”, while gently shaming himself and others for not grasping sooner how special this “clone” is. “Why should we fail to appreciate your uniqueness?” or some such propagandist drivel. Kinda makes it sound really awesome to be a transcended gender…a special person with special privileges. Now would be a great time for people in the trans community to speak up about how they feel about “Sister.” I bet the shallow pandering won’t impress many, and these days that’s all they’ve got, (besides unwarranted accusations and fan blaming).

I watched the Holiday Special a couple of years ago. It's honestly not even THAT bad 😀. Yeah, it's full of cringe and cornyness and most of it is not even actually "bad", it's mainly boring, but at least it's earnest in what it does. Maybe my standards have been lowered so much these days because of the slop Hollywood keeps spewing out, but yeah, I'd actually watch the Holiday Special again. I'd never ever watch Book of Boba Fett again, for example. I'm sure I'd say the same for The Acolyte, but I'm not gonna bother watching it.

Here is my perspective on Star Wars. I count Episodes 1-7 canon, disregarding 8 and 9 is the best way to overlook the misery studio execs actors and producers have thrown the franchise into since “The Last Jedi.” The very title of episode 8 is a wrench compared to the first seven as “last jedi” is Luke Skywalker, the character behind “A New Hope’s” title and the symbolism behind “The Return of the Jedi’s” title. Each of the preceding seven titles references a person or event which was best not returned to in later titles. However, Episode 8 by mere title is indicative of titular stagnation or staleness. All that being said, I’ve recently watched “A New Hope,” and “The Empire Strikes Back,” and later entries do not damage them or “Return of the Jedi,” from an individual, subjective or personal basis, at least from me. Of course in the realm of production and marketing, little can be done to rectify all the took place after episode 7. However, I like to stop with Episode 7’s ending and consider nothing else in terms of story, and that the saga ends on a happy cliffhanger and not progresses to the levels of sacrilege wrought by the filmed entries of episodes 8 and 9.
